Well no doubt it is a day in the church calender but we have to face the fact that many people do drink a lot although I don't myself, I'm not blind to what goes on in life.

Actually, I think that's the "occasional rhythm bones" referenced in the notes. It's not a clap. The problem is that the bones are probably too close to the mic, and it's overbearing.  Bones are either very cool, or very annoying, and seem to have no middle ground.
