  • The MTP have tested prototypes and confirmed that Air Recycling Technology if used in Vacuum Cleaners could actually save each year in the UK, an amount of energy equal to that generated by 800 Medium sized wind generators.

That is 1.5 TWh of electricity worth £225,000,000 and 650,000 Tonnes of CO2, Emissions. And a saving of more than 25 Twh of electricity annually is possible in the EU. Equal to £3.25 billion pounds and 13.5 million tonnes of CO2.Emissions.

    Please tell your MP.

    Thanks

  • Please give us more radiation Milliaband ,I love radiation it killed 200,000 in chernobyl mmm yummy.

  • I beg Milliband to look at the corruption of the nuclear industry they are not clean. They claim 56 people died in chernobyl when 200,000 died according to the Ukraine government (not a bunch of hippies). How can you trust such an industry. I beg you milliband. I know you want to do what is right so do not fall for their lies. They are dangerous liars, who are using you. Please be more way of such gangsters, in the nuclear industry.

  • On his old China excuse

1.If all Labours coal plans go ahead well be building them faster per capita than China

2.A substantial amount of Chinas energy use if making goods for our carless use in the West, reduce our wastefulness is the best chance of impaction on Chinas emitions

3.The idea that China needs us to show them how its done by rebuilding one station which may or may not then have something bolted on is absurd.

  • What Ed Milliband says is correct & a shrewd political move for the climate. Renewables are essential but they cannot meet all our energy needs, even in little Britain. Carbon capture & storage - which reduces emissions of coal plants by 90% - is key to saving the planet because it can capture the C emissions from coal which will inevitably exist in the future, especially in the developing world. As for nuclear, France has had it for decades & it too is an essential part of energy generation.

  • We can go for all renewable + energy creating many good quality jobs and without impacting of quality of life. Googol Zero Carbon Briton.

If 90% was achieved than I might not have a problem with it, but where are you getting it from its higher than any figger Ive ever seen, and a lot higher than I believe Labour or anyone else would ever enforce.

I dont have much of an issue with nuclear as an environmtalist but when all costs are included I dont thing its cheaper then renewable.
