It's stuff like your videos that inspire people like me to get involved in making Youtube videos (although mine our WAY behind anything you guys have put together). But I'm not making an issue. This was great. I can totally imagine Chell killing time in the wasteland apocalypse, dragging around the only dependable friend she's ever had, and entertaining herself with silly games (like putting Mr. Cube on a toilet).

Good stuff, this. What scale were you basing the Cube off of? It's a little small. But the set was great! Where was that at? Were you, Michelle, supposed to be GLaDOS, or just your average Aperture scientist?

@AGrayPhantom The cube is around 18" - The reason it's not to scale is because my original design plan was going to have a raised surface for all the edges of the cube. The size you see in the video was supposed to be just the base. All the beveled edges were going to be fiberglass or raised plastic panels that would make it exactly to scale, but when I started on the edges I realized that getting them to look good would have delayed filming way too much. I want to revisit it someday....

@TheSlowestZombie Cool. I like your attention to detail. It's a pet peeve of mine whenever people underestimate how large the cubes and spheres actually are. Or is it that Chell's just really small? Either way, I've seen Chell, Wheatley, and the Companion Cube compared to each other side by side and yeah, the results can be quite surprising.

@victoriacrl I can't speak for Michelle and the rest of Kill9, but where BDO is concerned I feel like we really told the story we wanted to tell with those characters. Anything else would just be overdoing it. Besides which, diversity is good! Kill9 can't just be "those guys who make L4D vids."
