This video makes more sense than the Bible.. For the most part this video is accurate, as any student of comparative mythology will tell you. Some of the minor details are wrong or are theoretical and not proven. But the underlying message, that many pre-Christian myths had all basically the same concepts of birth, virgin mortal mother impregnated by a god, death/sacrifice and resurrection is correct. The Jesus myth is a rewrite, plain and simple. The Christian version of the Sun of God.

Also, even light cursory research would show that Jesus was not born on December 25th as the video states. There are no historical records indicating when Jesus was born, Christmas is a Pagan holiday, as is Easter.

I know that there are theories of Jesus' birth being closer to Spring but I think he is discussing the December 25th birth to point to the fact that people have really just been repeating the same stories for centuries and beyond. Most of the information in this video is actually wrong. I can personally vouch for the etymologies of Horus, Horizon, Sunset etc. as being total nonsense. Same goes for a lot of what's said about the deities he lists as being similar to Jesus. For an instance, neither Dionysos nor Attis were supposed to have been crucified.
