  • wow you guys get really shitty fuel over there... aren't most japanese imports specifically "detuned" to run on american gas? The japs get 100 octane at the pump.

  • yeahh im kinda shocked at the power its making, even though you're on 91 it should be making alot more power, i own a IX with intake exhaust tune and a clutch and i made 340whp 332wtq.. how much are you boosting?

  • 91 FTL....... with a GT35 it would be stupid to not seriously consider meth injection and throw some Torco in the tank. My friend (evo9/stock turbo) went from 337whp on 91 to 388 with 32oz of torco mixed with a full tank of 91. He was able to up the boost to 27psi from 23.5psi with the same timing as @23.5psi. Down side is you have to change your spark plugs every 3K miles, but that is what $8 for 4 TR6's.

  • the atp turbo is a direct replacement for the stock turbo. its not a true gt35 housing. they had to make the housing smaller to be able to fit in the factory place. that also contributes to the low numbers.

  • youuuu should have more power.. i've seen evo's with intake turbo back exhaust and cams hit almost 400hp.. take it somewhere else to retune and see what they can do with this set up you should be hittin like 475 atleast.

  • 377whp is 430 on another dyno, i have seen a sti dyno at 330whp on a mustang dyno and run 11.8@118 in 1/4, dyno numbers dont mean sh*t, nice car bro..from an gt30r sti owner to a gt35r evo owner, i bet it pulls..

  • @Streetcandy88 true dyno numbers are a tuning tool...my evo put down 358 awhp on a mustang dyno on stock evo 8 turbo on E85 and ran a 11.7@119 ..i see other ppl over 400awhp dynojet running slower e.t. and traps..than me..377 on a mustang dyno is fucking good on pump gas and will run mid 11 seconds at over 120mph..im sure that was on a dynojet though judging from the video..i put down 298 awhp mustang dyno on 91 pump on my evo @ 25 psi and ran a 12.2@113..stock evo's dyno less 220 on that dyno

  • @tonebone0028 ok id say 377 is kinda low then on 93 and meth w gt35r..low boost huh..out here in cali its all about E-85 right now..equal to 104 octane at the pump costs 2.39 gal..just not available at many gas stations yet. id say w 377 mustang dyno i estimate mid 11 seconds. @ 120mph..but the video doesnt look like it..what u got in ur evo?

  • @tonebone0028 lucky u guys got 93 octane ,but in reality its not much greater then 91.yeah the methanol helps ALOT....we have 100 octane at many 76 stations at the pump but its expensive around $7.49 gal. thats like over 100 a full tank..Crazy, of course you can always go 50/50 and have like a 95.5 octane

  • @trugemini6382 now the setup is 35/82 hks 280's 100% M1 with 93 pump 31 psi stock block 88,000 miles stock valve springs and retainers revin to 8,100 it made 535 wheel at 7,800 rpm and 416 torque.

  • its sad that you spent so much money and only ended up with a street tune making 377whp . the saddest part is you have an ATP 35r , Denso 720cc injectors , and Cosworth cams .... I take that back the saddest part is that you bought an evo 9 , and probably paid 10k in parts and to the tuning shop . just to end up with a kinda fast car ... damn bro ... damn . Since the stock injectors on the IX's are 550cc wasnt sure if 750 was holdin him back on pushin the boost up to make more hp unless that's all he wanted which 377hp isnt bad at all not taking anything away from the guy just saying hes still got a lot of room left to make more

  • Arizona has E85 which is better than 91 oct. Its 105 oct! try tuning with E85 and see the difference in results!

I made 297.7 awp with my evo x on a 1.0 correction factor dyno dynamics dyno and people are like, "your numbers are low... blah blah blah" They never understand that my 297 on that low dyno is equal to 360awp on a dynojet and I've eaten camed gto's with 460 rwp like nothing so just ignore the ignorant people that say your power is low. A lot of us real tuners know what's up. NICE POWER!

  • How was the Tomei valve? He buddy has now had two designs of the Forge will 3 different springs, and he can't seem to get it to stay shut, or not flutter part throttle. Was the tomei the same way? My dsm never fluttered like his does part throttle, so i was surprised to see it happen, when i drove his car.

  • dude. you need to get some new piping. the stock piping for the turbo and intercooler are junk. i suggest gettting the buschur racing upper and lower ic pip kit and keep the oem blow off valve. it sounds really loud and makes a nice ksssssh sound. not to mention youll have horsepower increase

  • Your making 377 Horsepower on Pump gas!? That's pretty damn amazing. Turn the PSI up to 28 (Don't know what your running it at but that's a monster turbo) and mix in some race gas, you'll be putting out 500+ HP all day easily.

  • Car is sold, however yes, the Denso 720's were at 95% ER on high octane. On 91 like on this video it was fine. Walboro 255lph is fine.

  • Im back.. my car dyno'd at 489hp (on pump 91).. my hp numbers were low because it was dyno'd in 107 degree weather... and i had a dirty filter :)... im not on race gas.. but i do have methanol injection. not as good as race gas but still gets the job done

  • i went with the snow performance kit with the aquamist failsafe kit... and i bought the upgraded pump for 80 bucks more. i think it works great

  • lol no its not the stock ic piping. The only stock ic pipe I had on there was the uicp which is a full 2.5-3" from the ic to the tb. My low numbers are due to pump gas (91 octance). I wouldve made 440-450 on race gas but ended up selling the car. its ok tho youre a noob.

  • stock there around mid to low 20 probably... you wont get horrible gas mileage as long as you stay out of boost...

  • of course, these cars can get very decent mileage when stock turbo with normal driving
