but there are just way too many cheaters in quake 3 and quake live these days...not worth playing anymore. theres a bot called "ncql" and its widespread use has destroyed the game.

there are several videos of it in use here on youtube..just search for "ncql quake live". some of the videos are from the people that made it and they explain why pb cant detect it.

ive tried to get idsoftware to take a look but theyve ignored me.

@odellus ure a noob. painkiller has no strafe jumping so how can it be "exactly the same". unless you never knew how to trickjump in any game like a regular noob. weapons are much different. what is somewhat similar are shotgun, rocket and grenade (all have different damage, fire rate, projectile speed, push, bounce etc). there is no rail gun which determines the game on a lot of maps. also there is no instant weapons switch, which makes it impossible to do quickly combine weapons. l2p dude
