sounds great...I have beatcraft and the DT RP 1000. I have Cubase ( came with DT RP 1000} I am trying to import a breat craft drum file ( I have rendered the file to .wav, .mp3, ogg etc... but can't open it in cubase. What software are you using ? Or maybe you know what I am missing when importing. Beatcraft is really good and your sound is great. Ciao
I use basically the same setup to record with, beatcraft is an awsome program once you get used to it, What i do is create the beats im wanting seperately for intro, verses, chorus, ext, then make some fill in beats and combine them how i want using adobe audition, that way it doesnt have to loop and get that fake sound. check out my channel for some of the songs i've made using beatcraft for the drums and my digitech pedal.
You can record to a recording software using the usb port on the pedal or if you have a AD/DA audio interface use the mono line line out of the pedal to go your line in of your interface, not mic in *If you have a interface* if not go USB it is that simple.
With beatcraft you can export as a wav. file which is so much better than converting it to mp3... when you convert it you are loosing quality which is something you definitely don't with your beats.
You will loose bass in the kicks, your mids, so like your snare and stuff. But if you really need to save space there are plenty of free converters on the internet.
5: I just ment that if he wanted to create something realistic, BC can do a lot to help by using 'swing' and more samples for each drum/cins, and maybe for each hand as drummers come with preferably 2 hands. Each strike sounds different i.e.: Offhand isn't as loud as the main hand.
That's cool man, I did this when I was first discovering the program. I am now is school for audio engineering and have been learning a lot since I made this.
I know it is boring, the drums are basic and nothing special so I'm not offended by your input. So thank you for the tips and such...
@MetalMathias Yeah, sorry if it was like offence, I didn't mean it. Anyway keep this up, BC is really the best way -imho- to get along if you aint have a drumkit in your pocket. I'm just lucky to have one.
Man this guitar sounds fuckin great.. so pitty that the track is so boring and monoton.. also the drums should be more realistic, beatcraft can complete it better then this inbuilt sounds and loops.
I did. Just check out all my tracks at my channel and hear how it completes. Besides I dont think I was rude only cuz I told my opinion. I thought I have the right to disagree something but well.. you are more kind person then me .. whatever :)
Wow bro... Thank you so much! =) I can't wait to get my Mac computer and firebox set up so I can't start recording my actual amp which is a Randall, I'm working on some new tunes... more complex songs than this. Gonna try my hand at some solos too.
Lol it sure does but you really have to use only the E and A strings even when you get to the D it starts to sound way to fake. you can get away with the E and A strings though.
I want too, I got beatcraft for free from my music teacher and I find it is a good program. Its interface is very user friendly and it is easy to create beats quickly and easily on it. I can't compare the two because I have only seen vids of ez drummer... but I like beatcraft, it works and that's all that matter to me bro.
I think you've found the core of the damn beast's roar, but write some bitchin' riffs man, then make a good tutorial on how to use the RP150 with any ASIO based DAW and send it to Digitech. This is the best fidelity I've ever heard on the web for their products and who knows, they may use it or even recruit you to be a demo guy.
this sounds like puss!!!!

Oh and to see that I know what I am talking about:
1: As a DJ you should pretty much know that music and the opinions about it are style dependent.
2: As a DJ you should know what sounds realistic and what not.
3: I used to be a sound engineer.
4: I was talking about MetalMathias's production not yours.

pretty sweet i also use beat craft but how did you do the bass line
mynameis667 2 years ago
I did the bass line with my 6 string guitar using the RP-150, I just use the pitch shifter to create that low end bass tone.
MetalMathias 2 years ago
Damn thats pretty creative
mynameis667 2 years ago
definitely have done that before haha, it gets the job done i guess eh

Thank you mate and I think tonight I will rewrite the riffs and re-record it! Thanks for all the input!
MetalMathias 3 years ago
The riffs can be a lot better!

Lol I know mate, it was just something I threw together quickly. I have since elaborated the riffs and such.
I just haven't had the time yet to re-record the new riffs.
Thanks for the input though, much appreciated.
