you can do it without the sound mod thing, just set the file to read only and done! i tried it run the minecraft then when in the minecraft i opened the ambient folder with bravery and started the cave1.ogg and nothing heard! its THAT easy :D
It doesn't work, I tried putting them in, I downloaded the reader for OGM to check if they were legit, (they were) but unfortunately it turns out minecraft overwrites the files you put in "ambient" and replaces them with old ones. I did everything you said to do too, any suggestions?

when u said put the bz.class file into it, what do i drag it into?
HairyHog77 4 months ago
@HairyHog77
minecraft.jar, open minecraft.jar up with any archiving program, drag bz.class into it, delete meta-inf and there you go.

Or you could just stuff the 'cave' full of dirt.

Right click the sound and click properties and check in "read-only" if you don't then the cave sounds will be back to re-haunt Minecraft

Why do they all take KB if they are empty?
dyldylou 1 year ago
@dyldylou Because they're the same file just so quiet you cant hear it. I wanted to keep the tracks the same length just to be safe and not break it.
