Meanwhile, I think you are mistaken about the Sol Ring. That looks more like a 3rd Edition Revised print than an Unlimited. I say this because your pictured Sol Ring does not have the word "tap", but instead has the tilted "T" symbol. You can look for yourself at gatherer.wizards.com where they have all of the revisions visible.

very original of you, cool idea. ignore the detractors, they just don't get it...paying 100's-1000's of dollars for a card that means nothing except to the very few magic players left means little.

This is just fun casual stuff for people that want the game to be fun again. Not a matter of who has the most money or the BFF of the mtg designers,...

stuff like this opens the game up to casual players that were alienated by the absurdness of the last decade of this game.

@goodvocalcover Then you get sued by Wizards. If you want to use the proxy for something other than fun you need to own the real one and prove it to use a proxy. If you try to sell the repro as a real one, then you get sued. I am figuring that you meant sell the real one, use the proxy, which was why I made the first statement.

Unlimited Sol Ring is a "Mono Artifact" with a description of what it does when you "tap" it.

Revised Sol Ring is an "Artifact" with a correctly worded activated mana ability with the Tap symbol.

However, the *point* is not whether or not these look like Revised or Unlimited cards, but that the fake card looks exactly like a real one.

It should be noted, however, that there is no Revised Black Lotus.

No,  they are NOT both fake. They are both from Unlimited Edition which has white borders. The Black Lotus is a proxy(fake) and the Sol Ring is a geniune Unlimited MTG card. Black Lotus was printed in Alpha, Beta and Unlimited. Alpha and beta have black border, UL has white borders.

Sol Ring was also printed in Alpha, Beta, UL & Revised, UL and Revised have white borders.

Do you know what german company makes theese? They can be that much money. All you have to do to make one is acetone wash the front of any card and use i nice printer to print on the new image. It will have the same thickness, weight, flexibility ECT.
