I don't know how people can post comments like "lovely sound" - the video is full of clipping - please reduce the volume and reupload. It's so bad I had to turn it off after a few minutes. I see how people with reduced high-frequency hearing could be having problems noticing it, but it's extremely loud none the less.

@loveunderlaw And in the meantime, the clipping is gone and the video can be enjoyed. The lag other people have complained about is gone too. Either the issue was on the author's end, in which case this would mean complaints like mine have helped him notice the error, or the issue was that youtube had an error in their encoding, which was again spotted due to lots of people mentioning errors. Who's the loser now? Go get high or something.

The Dss1 is known as a sampling instrument ,but to me it is one of the finest analog synths Ive heard-yes the osc/samples are digital but the rest is analogue and it sounds gorgeous.These are getting quite rare now and I made sure i got one before the analogue anorak brigade realise what a beauty this is.get one now ppl whilst you can.

Wow, I had one of these long ago. I remember it best for the sampled piano I had - nothing else (that I used) could do a good piano.
