  • Running in 6th gear......a little too high and it's causing the engine to lug a bit. Try 5th gear and you'll get a lot better performance from the tractor and the harrow!

  • the 4620 is so nimble and easy to operate.....it musta been so awesome to buy one in 72//hinson cab, AC, and powershift.

  • we dindt bought it in 72, but it was equiped with a cab (dont know what brand) and ac. :P

it only doesnt have a differential lock..

  • @JDRobin86 where did you buy your fenders.. we have two 4620 powershifts and im looking for fenders for one and i cant seem to find them anywhere

  • @jdng11 at a junk yard where they have hundreds of tractors you can get them but you will pay a price for them

  • @brian93ist

we've done a few things on the engine. like new cilinders, liners, piston rings, crankshaft, turbo, radiator, injectors etc. The only thing we now need to do is take care of the fuel injection pump.

It gave us 130hp on the dyno, so that must be about good. it is smoking because it is under 1500 rpm

  • @brian93ist

I dont know much about those discs, they made al lot of different types. This is a BWA, probably 20 feet.

All cilinders shoud fit, but they are not exacly the same. the cilinder on our disc is a home made cilinder. this machine was owned by the Dutch governement in the 70's. They had different brand of machines, and they want one cilinder to fit all the machines, so they did some word on the construction.

  • The 4620's engine is intercooled while 4320's is not.Same 404 cid tho.

  • the 4620 engine is turbo build, the 4320 isnt. a 4620 got oil cooling beneeth the pistons. a 4620 got an 404 too, but they have got a distribution driven fuel injection pump

  • Mooi!

    Maar wel veel rook!

    (a lot of smoke!)

  • the fenders are brand new, and painted in primer ,the belong to our jd 5020, but our 4620 fenders arent painted at all, brandnew too, and if i mount them, they wil rust.

  • is that sucker turned up any i know this is a bigger tractor but it smokes more than my 71' 4320 and they both got the same angine and injection pump oh and what kind of turbo does it have? a shwitzer 3ld? or a TO-4 aireasearch?

  • this one got 13000 hours, complete engine rebuild, this is it's first job. it may need a fuel injection pump checkup, the presure is very low, and ignition very late, that's why it smokes. I tested it at the dyno, it gave 130hp. turbo is a shwitzer i think, orinal and brand new.

  • oh nice i dont like the shwitzers much i love aireasearch but my 4320 has a shwitzer so i gotta deal with it my 4320 has 9245 hours give or take the tach cable broke and it was run for around a hour fore i fixed it and all thats been touched is the starter and a bolt fixed in the diff and thats it and we cleaned out the turbo so i could get all the power outa it and mine has a factory cab no ac but she has a heater and a radio with head phones cause its too loud in the cab to hear without

  • whats with the yellow fenders?

  • Sharp 4620. I'm gonna own one someday.
