I saw this live at Riverfest here. I'm a huge gaga fan and was invited to the concert by my family who was leaving for a month long trip the next day. I really didn't think I was going to like it,but I'm kinda suprised it game out SO good!!!

Truly a great cover because it takes the sound of the song in a whole new direction. That said, the original and even more so Gaga's acapella version are superior.

Great version of Gaga. Please cover "Poor Elijah". Check out the Delaney and Bonnie acoustic version with Eric Clapton, Dave Mason & Bobby Whitlock. LBT are the only band capable of remaking this great tune and doing it justice. PLEASE!!!!

The whole song is about acceptance.. and they just censored the hell out of it.. if you're not going to give the song its full integrity don't do the song at all.. otherwise you are taking her creativity and using it for your own benefit without giving her the credit she deserves.. if she didn't want "no matter gay straight or bi... " in there she would have left it out.. do it right LBT.

@Sam7svu Lady GaGa wrote this as a love song of sorts to her fans, the majority of whom are members of the LGBT community who are treated as second class citizens and face sometimes harsh personal criticism, so there's a reason they are specifically mentioned. It's MEANT to be a wink and a nod toward them, as if to say, "I see you and I'll celebrate you when no one else will."

So while the essence of the song may be there, they just rip its soul out by omitting the chorus.

I never even noticed there were lines missing. For me the message and meaning of the song still comes out clearly without being SO specific. Are we really a generation that needs EVERYTHING spelled out for us, I think we can come to our own conclusions to what the song is really about. Excellent cover by an extraordinarily talented band.

Seeing as they're so offended by the heart of the song that they omitted it completely, I'm curious why they chose to cover Lady GaGa at all since she lives and breathes for the LGBT community. They may as well have written their own Christian anthem instead of cutting up a song about love and self-acceptance for their own purposes and press. Shame. Because the real beauty would have been if they'd had the courage to sing the song in the spirit it was written.

It is a great cover, but as in the acronym of their name they fell short of the true meaning in the song by leaving out the whole reason that equality is being sung about... so LGBT is reduced the LBT... minus the 'G'....

I hope when they record this officially they brave making the full song, because their sound is beautiful. It would be a shame if they don't embrace the song completely.

I think they left the extra lines out because otherwise the song is really long and it will get fewer hits. (Youtube tracks views by play throughs, so a person has to make it to the end of the song.) Why would they cover the song and share it if they didn't believe in its message? They DID sing the "no matter who you love" part.

As equally amazing as the original and I SO wish that they would record it and sell it. I also wish that if they do end up recording it then they should include the "no matter gay, straight or bi" line that is in the original. I was super disappointed to hear that they left it out and couldn't help but wonder if it was intentional and followed the stereotypical homophobia trend sometimes seen with country music singers (mostly males). But I've met them and wouldn't expect this is the case. :P
