Lovely. The city/ship sacreficed parts of itself to keep the shield defending the main tower. When the city/ship cuden't sacrefice any more parts like wern't vital for it, it rised to the surface..... I wan't a ship like that xD

It wasn't originally designed that way. That was added in an alternate timeline created when the city did flood, and Weir, Sheppard and Zelinka got trapped in the Time Puddle Jumper. "Season 1, Before I Sleep"
