They are accounted for a small proportion of fleeing people. The largest number is of the Chinese ethnic community, fleeing from VietNam as the consequence of VietNam-China conflict in 1979-1989. To sum it up, the total number of people that ran away from VietNam is small, in compare with the people who stayed (1 to 49 million)

Have you been there or learn how to survive from people in war-zone or some terrible thing South Vietnam's Army do with victim-of-war, who they think are VietCong. You don't know anything. See by your own eyes and just remember to use human-heart too.

There is a big difference between the US and the north vietnamese..the americans and their crimes were filmed, their brutality, their bombing, and the south vietnamese officer shooting an vietcong in Saigon in 1968..have you see any ABC-video about what vietcong did? what Uncle Ho did in 1958?

So did you know who is really Vietcong and who don't. @rs0gunz Communism is never ever equal, Mao was no equal, he didn t live like a poor peasent or worker, he lived the life of a communist playboy, Stalin didn t live like a poor russian worker, with 20 cars, big houses etcetc..Tito didn t live like any equal, nor Ceascescu and certainly Kim Jong Il doesn t live like any equal. Communists are never equal, its an elite-ideology that always finds ennemies..even in starving North korea there are class-enemies.

The clip is very vivid. “Everyone is happy”, the South Vietnam soldier said that when the North Vietnam Army was approching Saigon and “Big” Minh, President of South VN, ordered the surrender on April 30, 1975. Did the soldier stay Vietnam? Did he find happiness in the communist state of Vietnam or in a re-education camp?
