Kyu's version is better and that's the truth. I'm NOT saying Jonghyun isn't a good singer or that kyu's better than him. Kyuhyun was chosen by the composer himself to sing the song . This is because Kyu's voice is the best suited for this song. I've heard jonghyun do some vocals better than kyu before. Jonghyun's powerful voice isn't suited for this song which requires a smooth and warmer voice.
for those who don't understand korean, he was really nervous because park hyo shin and kim bum soo were there (they're the two guys sitting across from them) and they're both really legendary singers in Korea so Jonghyun was really nervous to perform in front of them. at 0:35 you can tell how nervous he was haha so cute ^_^ he even had his head down

For me, Kyuhyun nailed it. Jonghyun is not bad at all but nobody can sing this song better than Kyu. His soft, calm, mellow but full voice and style of singing gives it more depth that exactly made the song powerful thru its story-sharing-like-of lyrics. That's what this song needs to convey the message properly, no more no less. It's what gives the deep emotion of the song. And yeah, some are correct that Jong is breathing loudly. if i dont know anything about kpop, i wont like kyuhyun's voice. because jonghyun, even wookie and yesung and onew gave a stronger first impression about their voices. its like when we first listen to them, we know they have strong and different types of voices. while kyuhyun's voice is somewhat normal, without any distinct characteristics.but what made him special is that, he is able to reach any notes he wants to.be it low, high or medium.and i fell for that.im proud to say, im kyu's biased!!

Now they are officially not a rookie group anymore. They are now classified as Sunbae's (Seniors) among the SM Company.
Meaning people among the company (trainees and so on) will call them...

Kyuhyun's version is more soothing and relaxing.

This version was also awesome, but I couldn't feel it in my heart. Maybe because the loud breathe, I don't know. but overall, he's verygood.

idk but when Kyu sings this song, it feels like some guy just remember his ex-love and feel sad but still smile; when Jjong sings it, it feels like this guy is really really miserable (I think Onew will do better :">). but both versions are good!!!

He made a great cover of Kyuhyun's song :x still I prefer the original one ^^ Jjong has a very special voice that can reach amazingly high note, while Kyuhyun's voice is warm ^^ I think Kyu's voice suits this song more than Jjong's. Anw, thank you Jjong ah, to make such a beautiful cover ^^

if i dont know anything about kpop, i wont like kyuhyun's voice. because jonghyun, even wookie and yesung and onew gave a stronger first impression about their voices. its like when we first listen to them, we know they have strong and different types of voices. while kyuhyun's voice is somewhat normal, without any distinct characteristics.but what made him special is that, he is able to reach any notes he wants to.be it low, high or medium.and i fell for that.im proud to say, im kyu's biased!!

Jonghyun's voice is like Ryeowook's, so high and sweet. But Kyuhyun's sounds sadder. His' voice is meant for sad, love songs... Okay, I love them all!!

I actually prefer JongHyun`s version. It`s just me though; because I`m really used to listening to his voice (Who knows how many times I hear it on a daily basis xD). JongHyun may have bad breathing control, but as odd as I sound, I actually like it. The breathing is seriously sexii and it somehow makes it more emotional. Ierno if you guys get what I`m trying to say. JongHyun always pours out emotions singing anything<3 Aw, I just love him WAY too much xD

I agree Jonghyun needs to control his breathing... This song suites Kyuhyun more because he can sing low songs pretty well!! And Jonghyun I think he should sing more higher notes its better for him to sing but I still like his singing just I think he just need to control his breathing cauze you can really hear his breath!! I still luve Jonghyun sing especially nothing better:)
