@kad936 the fact that I like dressing in women underclothes does not mean that I am gay! I think that your liking of Donna Summer's songs shows that you are a sensitive man and have a good taste for music. Where do you live? We could meet for a coffee together... ;)
she does not like gay people. I do not like this fact and i grew up with her music and have 45 lps of this very song. DAMN YOU for not embrassing gayness, its' 2011, get over it MS SUMMER. OK. you didn't allow yourself to poster child your music into gayness but , well , you won. YEAH ! GAGA has now taken the thrown and is running with it. BUT what a shame you failed to be nice to gay people back in the 70s. BITCH !
i was in me teems when sonna was singing so thats why i like her songs better than bow cos it all sexually orienated where as 70's was what you saw made it sexy not gyrating all thru the videos like nowadays
WOW. I grew up listening to Donna even though my mom didn't speak English and I couldn't grasp the beauty of this song at 8, It gave me goosebumps even back then. Donna is a legend!
@itspaisley quite possibly. As a child I loved this song literally for those sentiments. When you grow up, you get to read between the lines, all the sweet green icing, flowing down... some just can't take it from either view. This is a nice disco cover, from the age of innocents revisiting childhood's end; perhaps if you listened to the Richard Harris version, it may otherwise impress you. It is a really great song, IMHO.
THis song is amazing O_o !! Sometimes I wonder why we even bother putting new stuff out these days . 80% of mainstream music is now whores and/or posers "singing" like robots thanks to autotune with alarm clock sounds in the backround . Very sad ...I was born 10 years after this song came out but still I feel nostalgic somehow :p
C'mon dude seriously don't blame it on someone else when your favorite dessert is subjected to the elements. Yeah I know it sucks but ya know what? If you liked it so much why didn't you bring it in?. People really got to start being more responsible with there baked goods.

Such an incredible song, you would think she's singing about losing the love of her life, but bitch is singing about a cake that got ruined in the rain! I guess for some people, cake is equivalent to love.
"someone left the cake out in the rain, and I don't think that I can take it, cuz it took so long to bake it, and I'ill never have that recipie again, OH NO!. AHH AHHH" When I was young I never relized that the song was so werid, but now I do, but I still love it!
