  • I have a question does Odeng taste good becuase I want to make dukbokki but if I don't like it I don't want the food to go to waste

  • @marakia78 I like Odeng but you can leave it out to make sure. The dish will be fine without it.

  • @powerplantop Thanks :) I was worried the dish would be bland without it

  • @marakia78 odeng is DELICIOUS. OMNOMNOMNOM.

  • @erinmin712 LOL Thanks :D but unfortunately I live in Toronto and I can't find a store that sells rice cakes near my house :(

  • Why would you come to America expecting it to be dominated with Korean restaurants? America = predominantly American food. Florida actually has great food.

  • why do i have to soak the ddokbokki?

  • @theramenninja If you have fresh ones you don't have to. If you have the frozen ones you soak them so they are not dry.

  • @theramenninja No problem. I have had a lot of people help me learn to cook Korean food.

  • @GouldBach really? he dosent sound like korea at ALL..

  • @RobotChick1000 Like you said everyone makes it different. If you don't like or don't have something leave it out.

  • @MrIheartkpop If you go back far enough the rice cakes were not even spicy. Do a search for Royal tteokbokki.

  • Ketchup?!?!?!?!?! THIS AIN't tteokbokki! D:-

  • @MrIheartkpop I guess the Korean cooking blogs I was reading got it all wrong. The blogs were from Korean people living in Korean but since your the expert I guess they were wrong....

Thanks a ton. I'm gonna make this anytime I want dukbokki now, and it's a heckuvalot cheaper to make it from your home, although cleaning is a pain.

  • This one was kind of spicy but it was so good.

  • bjjvancouver, The stock is made from dried anchovies, shirmp and kelp.

  • Is that beef stock? Or chicken?
