whatever meat it is, just don't let the animal suffer while it's being killed. Sadly, some people cannot take the meat out of the diet (may the reason be poverty, tradition, lifestyle, health needs, etc) if you're going to kill something, do it quick. :( I salute vegetarians..I just hope animal cruelty ends-and by that, I mean how the animals are killed for food :( p.s. i don't eat dogs.

Some dogs are beaten to death, while others get the quick knife to the throat, some are knocked unconscious from a blow on the head. Regardless of the race, animal abusers exist here and there. If you check my post again, you'll see I'm not condemning anyone. I'm not even weighing who abuses animals the most.

What you see in cities are people with Westernized attitude with families working abroad. But go to the outskirt, in the squatter's area, and the provinces there you'll see the real Philippines. Malnaurished and starving. What kind of meat is served is the least of their worries for they are even lucky to eat one meal a day.

But when the Novel "White Fang" was popularized in the late 1800's eating dog meat became disgusting to Americans. Around that time the term hot dogs were made to refer to some base ball snacks sold in the stand.
Internet sources prefer the later version. Old magazines points otherwise.

The Filipinos (along with Thailand, Indonesia, etc.) are what is so called "jungle asians." They are slightly stupider than the "east asians" (i.e. as in Chinese, Japanes, Koreans) which makes them poor economically, but makes up for it by being more athletic, robust, and having bigger dicks. In fact, most "jungle asians" have bigger and more rugged hands than "east asians" since they evolved to survive in the jungle rather than to think like the "east asians."
