R.I.P reg once seen never forgotten,he was a class act watching him perform on a tuesday night will live in my heart.I am so pleased that her memories live on thank you.
HRH Regina Fong was one of a kind and a part of my youth. You describe her act and it sounded appalling, see it and a work of genius and the way she worked with and took control of an audience was amazing. She retains a place in my memories I'll never forget her.
HIH Regina Fong was indeed the greatest Drag act EVER.. I have never been anywhere like those nights at the Black Cap so filled with laughter, joy and LOVE...There will never be another and Regina would have been fabulous in a John Walters movie...
I've never been much for drag , a man in a dress isn't all that funny after a couple of times, but Regina Fong was something beyond that. Same act every time, sure, but put together so well and bringing the audience in with all the steps and actions, it was a wonderful, simple night out, everybody laughing their heads off together and not caring what they looked like jumping up and down like Skippy or typing on a typewriter in the air!! A great memory of London.
pure class, i have the fondest memories of being berated by HRH in the 2 brewers and loving it, brought a tear to my eye - the last of a dying breed - pure class x
Regina aka reg was NUMBER ONE i worked at the cap for several years so knew reg alway had a smile.I worked for a few mnagers but it was alway knowen that tuesday night was my night off and there would be hell to pay if i did not get to see regina so thx for posting this it brings back fab mems and a few tears god why do the good one go so soon rip reg jungle reeeed thx again xxxx
It is at once sad AND sweet to miss the talent and pure theatricality of a real STAR. I often watched awestruck from the wings of Pride stages and venues while Regina tore it up, and her legacy of fun, frolics and bonhomie remains and regularly finds its way into my shows and, I'm certain, the shows of many other performers.
Your Imperial Highness, Sir Bundy, you remain with us in name, in nature, and in many beautiful memories. Sleep deeply and restfully as you reign eternally.
The Black Cap was my first introduction to the scene some years back now (I darn't count) ;) and I happened to go with friends on a Tuesday night. Well - I didn't know what had hit me when I saw rows upon rows of men shouting, singing and moving to Regina Fong's every command! I was stunned and amazed. Needless to say I went back week after week, and year after year. Reg, you are very sadly missed....
WOW,i was told about this tribute video by a friend of mine.
tuesday nights at the black cap camden, what a night, brilliant entertainment by HRH REGINA FONG and others.

OMG I can't believe I found Regina Fong on here. How fucking brilliant is that eh?!?! THANK YOU RONNIE LARSON XX
So many happy memomries from the early 90's from the Vauxhaul Tavern ... Andrew G (if you find this) I remember those times so well, what a laugh we used to have !!!! .... Sean

I really love this tribute, well done and im so glad you used a pic that i did the one with the blue eyes off reg's site! thnx again well done, nikki vixen xx
Thank you so much for the kind comments. I feel an immediate kinship with other people who experienced the truly original experience of seeing Regina Fong perform live. I have NEVER experienced anything similar to the pure joy and love that filled the room at the Black Cap every Tuesday night when Regina Fong was performing. My video doesn't even begin to convey the brilliance of Regina Fong but thank you for watching and thank you for your comments.
Regina Fong's shows were inspired lunacy! I have some very happy memories of crazy nights at the Black Cap, including being picked on by Regina from the stage. This is a lovely, very touching tribute to a brilliant talent.
Thank you so much - brought back very happy memories of far too many drunken Tuesday nights at the Cap and I could still remember all the actions. A brilliant tribute to a unique performer.
Great to see this. Reg was one of a kind. Can't believe that he's been gone almost 9 years. RIP.

I first saw her at the White Swan at the tender age of 17. I loved her ever since. If only drag these days were as good.
Tatty frocks and knackered old cassettes but it was all pure gold.

I really pity young lads on the gay scene today, in so many ways they have missed out on so much.

Fantastic. I can't believe this is on you tube. On You Roonie, nice one.
Have never seen a better performing drag artist. And I live in Australia, we have heaps of them. Talentless compared to HRH Regina Fong.
Oh for one more Tuesday night in the Black Cap :)
