The amp's distortion channel is beautifull. Marshall really made an axcellent amp. I'm considering getting one of these, but with two cabinets, as the sound becomes much better with two speakers. Full stack is something I really want, but don't want it to weight like an elephant. This is the perfect amp for me. My search of the holy grail is over. :)

@homersimps1 The Haze does not like very calm pickups like a classic 50s Singlecoil at all. Try it with a Humbucker, P90 oder a hotter SC, you will see it very raw and crunchy site.

@AvengedTimes Worse. Way worse. In all fairness; the first one I tried was at Sam Ash and it had to have been defective. It seems like most demo amps at Sam Ash get wrecked somehow. Then I tried it again at Guitar Center - sounded better, just nothing like this demo. Personally, I wouldn't buy it. I love the tone in this demo, but the Haze's I 've tried don't even come close to this tone.

I am looking for a Marshall, it would be my first ever Marshall, I love the Chunky British Tone, I want to know if the Haze 15 would be good? I am alternatively looking for a JCM 800 2204 (50 Watter) just love the way it sounds, But am confused totally at this point.I know a 50 watter would be too loud 4 home, But I want the real thing, that tone, I would get an attenuator, Just don't know what to do, as JCM's r not avlbl in India. hv to get frm UK or US..Costing a bomb..... pls advice

Kurfix. . with the 4 X 12 is it loud enough to gig with it, stay up there with a drummer, full band? I love the tone that Marshall has brought forth with this amp. . both the 15 watt and the 40. But the cool thing about the 15 is that you can push it into tube overdrive easier - and it runs 6V6's. KInd of rare for Marshall. They ran 6V6's in only one other amp. . their recording amp of years ago. So loud enough to gig with?

there's a pickup put on the body of the guitar. He uses guitar synth I think.  That's not the original tone of Haze 15.

Seriously, get the Blackstar. Way more versatile and better sounding on low volumes. Also: Recording out and effects loop. And tons more of gain, if you need that.

well, santana normally uses PRS guitars with humbuckers

so having humbuckers would help you get closer to his tone. then set the mids pretty high, work the rest of the eq around that.

then add delay and reverb and you're good to go :D
