  • I beg to to disagree with you globalman but I believe that Mame the movie with Lucille and Bea was intended to be a tongue in cheek production and I think that in most audiences received it that way I loved it and cherish it to this day and I personally wouldn`t change it for anything!!!

  • GORGEOUS! Love this, I am smiling from ear to ear now. Love both of them. RIP Bea.

  • 3.00 onwards...go on girls!!!!! :)

  • Thanks so much for this! I loved it when I watched it "live" - it's great to see it again!

  • I saw Mame at the Wintergarden in the late 60's with both of them in it. It was my first Broadway show and I'll never forget it. They were fantastic.

  • @sft415 I would give almost anything to have seen it live!

  • 3 minutes and 24 seconds of class.

  • I was privileged to see Mame on stage on Broadway then Los Angels when I met Miss Lansbury and her husband Peter Shaw. They were a beautiful couple. It was a tragedy the near sightedness of Hollywood to not use Angela for the Film. Lucille Ball who I also knew was a catastrophe. They looked like two bad drag queens. Further because of the arrogance and ego of the studio and Miss Ball the musical is lost for all time as the film is so bad. Angela was Mame as Rosalind Russel was Auntie Mame.

  • You won't find star quality like that on some naff reality 'talent' show! Wonderful ladies - oozing with charm, professionalism and real talent. Thanks for uploading.

  • That was so, SO, SOOOOOO amazing! I have the HUGEST grin on my face right now!

  • I adore that Angela Lansbury (Mame) is playing complete foil to Bea Arthur's Vera; just as they legendarily portrayed on the Broadway stage in MAME. Two legends performing in perfect harmony with Jerry Herman's masterful lyrics. We have been given such gifts from these great ladies of stage. Bea Arthur and Angela Lansbury; both legends in collaborations and their own separate endeavors (Maude or Murder She Wrote) show that class, talent & style has not gone out of season. Peace.

  • AMAZING!!!!!! <3

  • Thank you for uploading in such great quality! I love this. RIP Bea. xxx
