Just watched the film. Really moving. Didn't know about Gwen's case till now. People, please let others live their lives the way they want to. Like you want to live your own life too. I happened to see the film was on tv by chance and since I know a transgender teenager I wanted to watch the film hoping I would understand the problems they run into better. I must say the film helped and I am glad I watched it. God bless Gwen and God bless this teenager I know. You have my support.

You know what sucks is the fact about transgender people and how they are treated by many people who do not understand or choose to not accept them. It is only some of them who are lucky enough to look like a women, and for the others the struggle has obviously got to be worse. Pre-op transgender women generally only date straight men or sometimes straight women. Gays and lesbians tend not to from what I understand, and I can see why.

Just watched the film. Really moving. Didn't know about Gwen's case till now. People, please let others live their lives the way they want to. Like you want to live your own life too. I happened to see the film was on tv by chance and since I know a transgender teenager I wanted to watch the film hoping I would understand the problems they run into better. You know what sucks is the fact about transgender people and how they are treated by many people who do not understand or choose to not accept them. It is only some of them who are lucky enough to look like a women, and for the others the struggle has obviously got to be worse. Pre-op transgender women generally only date straight men or sometimes straight women. Gays and lesbians tend not to from what I understand, and I can see why.

Killing transgender people for being transgender is certainly wrong. HOWEVER, if a transgender woman does not disclose the fact she was born a man before having sexual relations with someone, then she is asking to be killed. 2 of the boys who killed her had prior sexual relations with her and from what I understand, she did not disclose that she used to be a man to them. NONE OF YOU can tell me it's right to trick a man in this way.

Why tell them you are a woman knowing that you have no vagina, breast or female body parts and hide your male parts when having sex with them. But, since some of them truly do look like women and a lot of men can't tell she's not, then if any of them show interest in her and she feels the same interest then it's then I believe she should disclose the fact she has/had a penis and was born male. Especially before they do anything physical.

To wear clothes and act feminine is your business but when you choose to get intimate with a person who is believed to think that you are a female, it is only fair to both you and them to be honest about your true gender. I truly believe if Gwen was upfront and honest with them prior to sexual activity, Gwen would be alive. They probably wouldn't have had any forms of sex but would have had the choice to say no.
