Can we have delphi express editions???????? i think that would boost your acceptance in univesties and schools also it will generate a solid base of future programmers and buyers
It would have been useful to actually indicate how you made IDE insight appear - having watched that part of the video twice it seems to appear magically.
Delphi 7 is not free, You have a pirate copy and is ilegal...
I will buy delphi 2010, my latets version is D2007, and i want to support hime and HOPE a real alternative to native mac and linux will be comming soon...
@shimodadonald There is an alternative: Lazarus. If u like Delphi than u may like Lazarus, because all the code written in Lazarus can be easily compiled in Delphi. Lazarus doesn't have that much GUI Components but I think it can make the main things...
I'm a little pissed off by the upgrade price for RAD Studio 2009. I upgraded my development team to RAD Studio 2009 less than 6 months ago, and now they want ANOTHER $2,799.00 to upgrade to 2010? It's hardly fair!
@macwolx Delphi 7e is the best, legacy FTW, but we gatta move on for better performance and compatibility, i guess you're still coding for Windows XP. ;]

i am a hobbyist programmer still using delphi 7 CUZ ITS FREE!
delphi 2010 is something we hobbyists cant afford.
