  • I had my first parathyroid surgery in CA in Feb 2010, where one tumor was removed but my calcium levels did not go down. I went to Dr. Norman's center for a second surgery in October 2010 where a 2nd tumor was removed. The first surgery took 2 and 1/2 hours, the second one took 12 minutes and went as simply as promised. I would advise anyone to go to Dr. Norman FIRST. And I can't even find the scar!

  • May 11, 2011 Dr. Norman removed 3 P/T glands with tumors and one thumb size

thyroid tumor. After the surgery and recovery I went back to the hotel, checked out,

went to the train station, walked 3 blocks & returned with our sandwiches, came back

home to Jax, Fl. 60 days later had bloodwork for my endocrinologist and Dr Norman

performed, a few days later my endocrinologist advised that I had the bloodwork of a 20 year old man, will be 69 my next b'day. No more Fosomax, feeling well & strong.

  • I had mine back in December 2010. I went into the hospital around 6AM and was out around 11AM, rested a bit at the hotel, then my wife and I went for a nice dinner at an Italian place. I became a different person as the all the symptoms of lethargy disappeared in the ensuing weeks. Thanks to God and Dr. Norman.

  • Dr, Norman and Dr. Politz performed parathyroid surgery on me five years ago, when I was thirty-nine years old. I have enjoyed stellar health ever since, and even had a happy, healthy baby two years ago. I don't believe a healthy pregnancy would have been possible prior to my surgery. I was sick and run down all the time. Dr. Norman promised it would change my life before I went under, and it did. It surely did. Thank you so much. And my son, Cayce thanks you too.

  • You rock Dr Norman! I found you in 2005 and my calcium levels have been great since then! No more tiredness, no more hair falling out., and no scar! I have to look for it and sometimes I can't even find it. Keep up the great work!

  • Dr. Norman and Dr. Politz are absolutely amazing as well as their staff. I had my surgery on 11-01-2010 and I would and have recommended this team to anyone who has been diagnosed with parathyroid tumors. My husband and I traveled from Texas to Tampa stopping along the way to make a mini vacation out of this trip and have been truly amazed at the difference it has made in my health...

  • I had my upper left removed just over two years ago. This wonderful team change my life and I will be forever indebted to them. My operation took only 14 minutes and my wife was driving me back to Jacksonville by 10AM. We were the first of 13 operations the team did that day.

These guys are the world's best at what they do and may God bless them for their wonderful work. I only wish family practice MDs and endocrinologists were more aware of parathyroid condition. Mine was a decade or so old

  • Thank you for this wonderful thyroid sparing surgery. I had mine March 7th, 2011 . It took 16 min which is priceless compared to the 3 hours surgery offered to me @ home in NC! It was a no brainer!

  • Thank you Dr Norman and team, you made such an hectic time in my life into a seamless process. So glad that I took the time to do the research and find the best.

Great view from the recovery room and yes went out to dinner that night also.

    Thank you.

  • We were lucky enough to find Dr. Norman when my husband had parathyroid issues. The first surgical consult said that there were 4 bad parathyroids and that all had to be removed, and 1/2 of the smallest one inserted back in a procedure that would take over 6 hours and a large incision. With superior equipment and methodology, Dr. Norman found and removed only 2 bad parathyroids in his minimally invasive procedure. We went out to dinner that evening and home the next day!

  • Dr Norman is the inventor of mini-parathyroid surgery. He has performed more than 16,500 minimally invasive parathyroid operations at the time of this video. He has two equally tallented partners, Dr Doug Politz and Dr Jose Lopez. If a surgeon removes only the parathyroid tumor seen on the scan, the cure rate is only 85-90%, demonstrated perfectly by this patient. You cannot tell if a second tumor is present without looking at the other glands!
