  • Any updates on your summer fitness goals? How did it go?

  • You shouldn't disable comments in your videos, Angel.

Denying people to discuss in an open forum is just not American.

    thanks!

  • I agree with darkpigen... About an hour before your workout chocolate milk can give you an extra bit of energy. It really is just a small sugary meal. Just make sure to get one that is as heathy as you desire. As far as the lactic acid build up whcobb01 should try exercising with c. milk as a post workout drink.

  • Chocolate milk is great... However, I think the studies you have seen are completely wrong... Chocolate milk contains lactate (i.e. Lactic Acid)... Lactic acid is actually built up in the muscles during exercise or physical use which is why your muscle fatigue... The studies may be accurate but I doubt it. At any rate, videos are great and I've enjoyed listening to the majority of them.

  • Please don't cut your hair again, It looks great when it is long.

  • For running, a good way to strengthen your legs for a race is to have minimal days. Olympic runners do this by running barefoot. Try Vivo Barefoot, Five Fingers, or google barefoot running. Running barefoot changes your body mechanics and stride. It is the natural way. A warning though, you may find yourself addicted to running with minimal shoes just as I have. FYI, Nike Free is NOT minimal.

  • Choc Milk, primarily as a recovery drink. Prior to a workout doesnt seem right unless taken an hour or more before training. There are about 3 studies that I am aware using Choc Milk as a recovery drink. There several olmypic/professional teams including Michael Phelps that spport it's use. My experience is more energy less soreness. Remember portion cotroll. 8 oz after a work out is my requirment. Do NOT use skimmed milk. You need some fat. Use 1%.

  • Excellent update Ang and way to stay on track. You have goals and are making progress daily to reach them. Proud of you Girl!

  • it's still a loss, awesome. Love choc milk, yumm, I've used before as a recovery drink, simple and cheap

  • awsome .good luck with your running :)
