  • einfach wunderschoen!

  • Hey man! Good! But, I am from argentina. This shold be very slow and expressive, most soft, most rubatto. Seen how the composer play this!

  • Too fast....

  • This piece is full of feelings, he did not put any feelings in his performance

  • This piece is full of feelings, he did not put any feelings in his performance!!

  • It faster than original I saw from youtube but yours give a different feelinng

  • I like this one more than the original. Good job. by the way i subbed.

  • You gave the rhythm a life! I like your speedy & wavy tune. Many people don't know that they can find a deep emotion even in a fast song. Feelings become different following translation.

  • Yorumunuz biraz, hizli ama teknik acidan gayet iyi,Cardoso'nun Milongasi ,enfes temasi ile oldukca populerligini yitirmedi, sizin kalitenizde yorumculardan daha cok seyler duymak istiyorum, tebrikler

  • this is very fast

  • its too fast!

  • Çok güzel çalmışsınız tebrikler sizi dinlemek güzel.

  • Damn you have flexible fingers... Definitely more flexible than mine... Respect, very well played, but, as Brian said, we need more feeling ;) 5*

  • cool :)

  • Gostei , mas acho está um pouco rápido.

    Parabéns :)

  • very good milonga

  • speedy gonzales! flawless fingering but lacks emotionally. milonga should be slower and there should be more feeling to it. and sometimes variations on the play, like eating from a mixed box of chocolate. this version must be the chili dark chocolate one from the box:-) cheers for uploading it. we need variety.

  • good job, but in opinion too fast...

  • Lovely playing Behzat, 5 stars.

  • let it breathe...

  • He visto otros videos tuyos.

  • Nice But too fast , slow down a bit and it's excellent.

  • tooo fast!!!!!!!!!!!

    no feeling of the song.

You have to fell to play.

If you don´t fell, DON´T PLAY IT

  • Too fast!!! You probably never heard a milonga, which is a slow tempo song, full of melancholy and sadness, inspired by the wide and open fields in La Pampa, an Argentinian area.

Try to listen a true milonga and please slow down the tempo

  • Hey... take it ease dude. He's a great guitarrist and if you hear his other plays you wil easely understand why.

The song is ok... the feeling is there, there's just a lack of cultural knowladge...

JORGE, you rock man... just listen some Milongas or come to argentina some day ! ;)

  • I take it easy, but if you are an argentinian you should understand me, listen to Yupanqui, and many other great guitar players playing milongas, and then tell me. You can't ruin a style playing that fast only to show that you can play fast. Music isn't related to speed at all. It's related to a deep understanding of feelings. I don't say he can't play or he isn't a good guitar player. I said: milongas aren't that fast.

  • For sure Kumga... I do understand what you mean. But I think that, in this particular case, I wouldn't believe that he is RUINING our so loved milonga...

I just see it like this: he was not born in Argentina. He dont live and breath our culture. That's why, in my honest opinion, he is makeing he's own interpretation...

It would be more reazonable to just say "Hey dude, you are a good guitarrist, but if u want to play a milonga the right way, take this video out / listen to this stuff /etc"

  • amazing job man, playing faster is another way to interpretate the music and must be respected, even more when its played so clear like that, gj!

  • agree clear but speedy,when you have something m a g i c in your hands you

want to keep it as long as possible

  • way toooo fast..... nicely played though damn your clean.

  • I like it, I think it'd sound better using different tones though

  • I note with interest the comments that CemGunenc plays this tune too fast....and yet on his version of Terrega's Capricho Arabe many say he plays too slow. In the end, it's his personal interpretations of these magnificient pieces that matters. It seems he plays them exactly the way he wants to hear and feel them...and the result is truly fantastic. Great stuff.

  • Thank you Ocean. you understood me. People want to hear these masterpieces exactly same as they heard from old masters. i dont want to play same as others. i dont want to play as original. i dont care if 5 billion people play it slow. i want to play as i imagine and i want. milonga is a dance and i want to dance little faster and more passion. thats all. best wishes from Istanbul.

  • You are most welcome! I am not a classical player, but I were to chose any classical piece in the world to play it would be your version of Capricho Arabe! I am starting on it....in a few years I may have something...;-)

  • Yes, it's good that you play it like YOU wish, because music is supposed to give YOU lot of fun. I also play Cardoso's Milionga and it's one of my favourites, and, of course, I don't play it exactly like You. I play the accompaniment a bit more quietly and that would be the only difference... Then nice interpretation, and I have to go, my bus is goin'g to arrive in a few minutes ;)

  • You play correct! This is true but is it the only thing to be done?

Slower man, slower... Cool down. This should make us relax. This not a piece to make speed record.

  • temp-lento!

    its not milonga

  • just added this tune to youtube myself. don't blame you for playing it fast, although your reason may be musical. mine was I was getting fed up with screwing up more laid-back renditions of it and having to re-take, so ended up playing it fast just to get it over with. Anyway, the comments supporting your choice of tempo are reassuring. Keep on rockin' in the free world!

  • I can't believe you're still getting ragged for your tempo on this piece. Yes, if this milonga is played slowly it's more melancholic -- however, when played faster it expresses a delicious urgency.

[Why do so many demand conformity?]

  • i wish i could play so fast...but yes that's not they way to play this

  • The main characteristic of a Milonga movement is the suffering contained inside every note.

Playing fast like that is really hard to get that feeling of pain.

Try slowing it down a little bit, you can play fast, but sometimes speed is not the most important thing.

    Think about that.

  • Great playing. Meanwhile I heard that there are two milongas one is fast milionga and the other is very slow milonga and this song is the latter one. Kindly check out how Russell slows this song.

  • What does it matter if it's a little faster than the original? It doesn't have to be an exact copy of the original to be good.

  • you are an inspired player cem! god bless you and your sponsoring father :-)

  • Cardoso Odtuye geldiginde bu parcayi yanlis caldi, rezil etti birakti. Pes dedim, o bile takiliyosa artik.

  • Very nice playing, you can feel the music.

  • where did you find the tab for the this?

  • music for acoustic is meant for notes :-)

  • sometimes meant for chords too. :)

  • lol, I got -1 for this? Can you see how many chords he's playing there? I hope you see them in his playing eventually.

  • Va demasiado rapido pero se escucha bien

  • and why aren't you famous?!

  • 2 kind of milogas as Argentine composer Gorge Morel says. one slow and on little faster. his has similar milonga. and you play is great. Yet also I think this becomes well with slower milongatango too.

  • ahmet kanneci is a grade 8 guitarist he has a long way to go yet ....my friend....and this played now needs a better depth sounding guitar other than that its ok

  • Argentina !Argentina! evocation of a lost paradise ! I like this playing very much !

    Thank you, Cem !

  • I like this melody very much !

  • hey nice playing but I agree the song needs to be played slower and with more feeling. goob job!

  • correction noted, thx! i just heard it in duet once and figuerd...

  • great playing man, five stars, but i have to agree with stevesteezy, it's a bit too fast (not depressing, this is a butiful piece) and one last thing- it's not a solo piece, it has a seconed part for another guitar :)

  • Sorry but this piece IS a solo arrangement with a second guitar as an option when played in duet form.

  • ii ahmet kanneciyi dinlesen daha ii

  • Jorge Cardoso is the Best!!!!!!

  • my friend, Jorge Cardoso is the composer not the interpreter.

  • Tebrikler Cem kardesim. Herkez gibi calma hızını eleştirmeyeceğim.Bence gayet iyi. Kolay gelsin. Basarilar.

  • great play but really to fast!!! this song needs to be playd slower and with more feeling!!!

For me that song is very depressing!!! Good work by the way! 5 stars (you earned them)

  • perfect, just beautiful. i'm learnign the song now, and you're deff. the vid i'll be watching to keep note of, great playing

  • hocam eline sağlık birde ağrı dağın eteğinde alsak beea :)

  • Hocam super.Eline saglik...

  • Beautiful playing (just a little bet to fast)nice and precise, congratulations, by the way can you tell me how can I find the Tabs for piece?

  • very beautifuly played

  • i understand what you mean you want to feel the strings more bright more live.Sound is weak because of the mic. at first recording i used the mic of my web cam.Now i am using a stupid computer mic it sounds better but for real guitar sound we need a condenser microphone which is minimum 250$ :)

  • I becoming one of your fans. But the same as in Maxixa and La Catedral de Barrios Mangore, I feel some weakness in some places of the compositions. Of course, thats not the same to listen to a record made in a pro studio. Or may be, I`m getting deaf.

  • You know there's a 2nd guitar part to play this with.

Bit slower with more feeling would be nice but you played the notes perfectly, not so easy.

  • Lovely! Music is like passion -- sometimes slow, sometimes quick. Don't let your passion be ruled by a metronome.

  • thx that was a very nice comment. Most of the people want the pieces played exactly same as the version which in their mind play.

  • tebrikler iyi calmisin ama bence bu parcanın giris kismini yavas calinca tam super oluo;)

  • I like it. I´m Argentinian, and i feel proud of your Milonga feel

  • i agree more slow

  • tempo is just right - what are you talking about?

  • I totally concur with you. too many guitar performances receive unjustifiably high ratings just on the basis of speed. this is not music but rather an

    aggregation of notes sans artistry!

  • what's the rush? Need to make more song like, romantic and mysterious!

  • I totally agree, this performance is nice except it is a bit too fast (IMO only). I tend to enjoy this piece much better when it is played slower, which will give it more sense of romance and mystery.

  • Hi Cem. Congrats. You really play perfect. Have you got other clips on youtube? Cenap

  • Here is my favourite milonga.Life is good with you :)em

  • omg this is very nice, have seen all your videos...cant wait to see what are you going to upload next...

  • we just uploaded a dueto version of it, slower than you, though...

    thanks

PS maybe you should do the "trinos" in the melody

  • it is really very very nice to listen to it in this way.. thanks a lot..

  • thx iris i play a little fast because whole score has repetation and i feel bored when i repeat all once again.

  • I played and uploaded the same one today, a little less smooth than you! very nice!
