  • thanks enjoyed your lessons, I still have my Bach Lute Suites book. Use to play a lot of Classical Guitar. Can't play anything now, that much, Cause, of ulnar nerve damage on my left.

  • 3:15 to 3:18 sounds like The Things You See from Allan Holdsworth.

  • Thank you for sharing your insights on this neglected area of guitar improvising which has almost become a lost art. Intervals, three note chords, and voice leading are the secret magic of the guitar.

  • Yeah, good call on the changes! Polkadots it is!

  • Pokadots and Moonbeams

  • Great! I'll be up for the next year working on this.......Guitar & Harp

  • Thanks for the lessons, very clear info.

    Nice work!

    Very inspiring!

  • Try it - it actually is pretty hard... Compared to the great counterpoint guys like Jimmy Wyble or Ted Greene, this is nursery school level, and even that takes some practice. I'm really glad you, and a few others, have checked this out. Christopher Woitach

  • this is good. but why did he say it's so hard? i don't know a lot about this kind of music

  • OMBOB! I've always thought improving in counterpoint is the most awesomest thing you could do....THANKS!

  • it sounds like voice leading using compound intervalls or diads rather than full chords

  • Outstanding. Very very nice.

  • its hard enough to play one string at a time. Joking aside, what a lovely sound and so beautifully played. Wow!

  • There is no other word, Excellent. :-)

  • Excellent
