  • Like someone below commented,,,she's a bit "pitchy", but I think perhaps it's just her way of putting a "jazz" sound to the song. In any case,,,I really enjoyed listening to her. Thanks for posting.

  • This is so stylish! Love it.

  • I'll tell you what is sad. Thinking I was going to hear something great.

    God bless her

  • Great arrangement, but she can't pitch to sve her life!

  • NIce. The Harptones also do a fine version of this. Thanks very much.

  • Thanks! nice to hear the original/ this is pretty amazing

  • her voice is amazing, just softly crooning along. excellent copy!

  • Don't know where you found this but thanks for sharing! I love the arrangements and syncopation of forties music. Can't beat the band behind this lady, but Dinah Washington is a much, much better vocalist and I lover her cover. This era's version sounds like an entirely different song from the interpretation in covers done in the past couple of decades, like Gladys Knight's, which I also like very much.

  • So this is the original? Cool beans man.

  • The one I was looking for was sadder.. But I think I actually prefer this version!

  • Thank you, Charlie! I couldn't find this anywhere. Fabulous quality.

  • Excellent Charlie...love the Sleazy Sax!...Billy...

  • Where did you get this, Charlie?
