I looked @ surefire's site and they have different types of light models for example primary: white/yellowgreen, secondary: blue/IR/red and tertiary: IR strobe. do these correspond w/ different jobs/applications or is it just user preference?

Realy easy. tape up the front and paint it .

It's what I had to do. they dont make a green one as far as I can tell and belive me I looked !
