Tip for Matt.. don't try to balance it underneath your fingers just gently press it against them and drag across back to your thumb. Much easier this was and looks the same to the untrained eye.

your not even doing it right, your supposed to do it back and forth, not send it back to your thumb and start over

Obviously there are different ways of doing it...this is the simplest way; you can even continue passing it with the underside of the fingers making it roll completely around your hand. There's no wrong way of doing it.

Also, Quarters are too small for starting out. Ive found that the best thing to use is a gold dollar coin. But the most important thing you can do is relax your hand, and dont get tensed up because then you will try to use your other fingers to flip the coin across when you get too much of it.

The farther back on your fingers you go the less you drop it but the harder it is to flip and the further up on your fingers you go the easier it is but the more you drop it. So the best place to do it is on your knuckles at first. Also when you go from index to middle and from middle to ring you try to get the littlest amount of coin you can, and when you do the pinkie/thumb thing you push down with your pinkie on about half of the coin so you can get it through.
