I realize that doesn't make sense. They explain that on wikipedia. The theme song in the beginning of this clip wasn't the original opening when the episode aired. They started using this song somewhere during season 1, then they changed the lyrics of it for season 2, then changed the opening video AGAIN for the reruns of season 1 using clips from both seasons. The ending theme song at the end of episode 2 part 3 is what the original song sounded like. Hope that answers your question.

I always had, as well, but now that I understand how television shows are produced a bit better, I assume it was done in light of the fact that a majority of the show was filmed long before it aired (extending into the secod season, when Suzee was introduced) and due to budget constraints, they wanted to include as much character content as possible so little adjustment had to be done later.

It's a common stereotype for the British. Villains like the ones in this "Space Cases" episode speak in British accents because they are well-mannered, not like their enemies who talk like American.

it's because of the title - "a day in the life" is a beatles song, hence the villains are approximating a beatles-esque accent (poorly).
