This Rhosymedre by Vaughan Williams played by the String Orchestra it do NOT! sound good as it would in a organ becuse it was made for Pipe Organ not for the string orchestra but anyway good try, .
@KittRiker Not at all...the conductor...MYSELF was on the side of the stage watching the ensemble conduct its self. That's about the best that an ensemble can do to make music...create the music free of a conductor so that the can focus on watching each other and listening to each other. :-)
I learned to play this at the beginning of my 8th grade year. People say I learned the song earlier than most people do and that most people don't play this until high school, but I don't guess there's anything wrong with being an over-achiever...
You guys sounded great the only that I didn't like wat at 2:05 the person in the second violins put their violin down to change the page, other than that it was great :)
I wonder what the point was of doing away with the conductor, who might have been able to hold in check the (only very slight) tendency to run away with the tempo.
The violas have a really nice melody @ 1:22 but I could hardly hear it. The violins could have gone down some so the violas melody could cut through.
Also, the tempo was a bit fast. Rhosymedre is such a beautiful ballad; why not slow down and savor it? :-)
Aside from that, I thought it sounded great! Intonation, expression and dynamics were all excellent. I wish my old high school orchestra was this good.

Where the hell is the conductor? Did he decide to skip out on this one and get smashed?

Great recording. Sadly, I can't find the score and parts to do this with my orchestra.

Rhosymedre, a ballad??

Just some constructive criticism:
