  • I used to live in Alaska. I just love your footage of the eagles. Thank you for sharing and please keep sharing!

  • I wish we had eagles like those in Australia :(

  • wow and im lucky to see one eagle

  • That's amazing. The closest I've been to a bald eagle was at the zoo.

  • Cool video, I've only ever seen two Bald Eagles where I live.

  • Would be nice if they could've filmed this from more of a distance, and while making less noise, so the eagles don't get spooked while chowing down.

  • @gcpreda No way, man! Those eagles are used to humans. Have you seen pla1554alaska's other videos? She's got one video of a pair of eagles hanging out on her balcony, and she was standing one foot away from it. Didn't get spooked at all.

  • overfishing gonna put these on the endagered animals list

  • This is pretty sad, imagine how many fish were take away from the environment with a net this size... These eagles need the food since there isn't fish left in the body of water! Excluding all of this is you're fishing with sustainable practices. What beautiful birds!!!

  • @Staytheredoggy @ricefarmer According to the tags, this was filmed at Dutch Harbor in Unalaska, Alaska. And when I looked up fishing there, they fish for Pacific Halibut, which is one of the sustainable species of fish. So, I think your concerns are misplaced.

Really, can we have one YouTube video that isn't beset by an activist sobbing about how sad and wrong the video is? Come on. Let's enjoy how awesome it is to see eagles getting along so well with humans.

  • immature bald eagles there are only golden and bald eagles in the USA

  • Are the other eagles spotted eagles or immature bold eagles?

  • Wow, you have eagles like we have pigeons!

  • The entire population is RIGHT THERE. They must've wanted a field trip

    haha jk ;)

  • thats awesome

  • Eagles are so majestic when flying but are a little clumsy when walking on land. Still they are amazing birds.

  • Politicians would be the eagles and the American people would be those fish.

  • @Saysasitis what? are you related to Sarah Palin?

  • @ashyjedi what does that have to do with being related to palin? lol

  • wow ive only seen like 3 eagles in my life. and to think there are like 30 here...

  • Your videos are so rad! Keep em coming please.

  • i cringed when the eagle got stuck and the guy laughs at it...

  • woah....seeing that many bald eagles shocks me to see they r making a comback in the wild

  • Your videos are awesome!

  • Never ceases to amaze me just how chill bald eagles are around humans!

  • @HooshIsASoup

I'm just glad that they're not smart enough to gang up on us. Smaller eagles in other parts of the world are capable of killing wolves and deer. Bald eagles would almost certainly be capable of the same thing to people, especially in groups.

  • @briantotse3 Eagles sometimes do that for food in their more desperate situations, but when they take out wolves and other predators, they often eat them -- but it's primarily intended to draw down the competing predators to manage food sources. This is not much of a visible problem that eagles would perceive in humans. And since most animals simply don't like how humans sit in their diet, they wouldn't take us for food unless necessary.

  • The universe is fking awesome!

  • awesome video. I like Eagles way better than hawks. Hawks will go after pets and they eat them alive. Eagles kill their prey in a couple of seconds.

  • 0:37 "This guy's got a pretty big penis"?

  • @kingman4889 That would be piece...

  • No top comment, Heres my chance

  • @stupidkidoftheblock yah here's your chance to come up with an original comment...

  • THEY HAVE FAT ASS THIGHS

  • holy crap!

  • Who thinks of these birds as Jets, waiting to take off?

  • are american troops!

  • Where are these sea eagles located. I want to visit..!

  • Eagles are so cool

  • They're like giant, vicious seagulls!

  • I would eat one.

    NOM NOM NOM.

  • I have seen Great Videos on Youtube... but this is something AMAZING i mean... wow! God Bless America and long live the Eagles!

  • best looking animal.

  • Thats pretty neat but I'd be worried and feel so bad if one of them got stuck and couldn't get out. You'd have to grab a knife and cut the net and I'd be scared of getting my face torn off from those large talons! hehe. Such a beautiful bird! I love eagles!!

  • I've never seen so many eagles at one place before! I thought they were "lone hunters" ?

  • beautiful sight! love it

  • That is awesome! Great video!

  • I remember one day i shot five of these and stomped all over the eggs they layed in a nest near my house.

  • @junkheadrev thats not cool man

  • @junkheadrev You are of very low intellect for sure!

  • @longfinnedeeler obviously

  • @junkheadrev yep...obviously

  • @junkheadrev I don't know much about the laws in the U.S., but I'm pretty sure if the wildlife department found out about this your ass could be dragged to prison.

  • @eXAKR Probly,i aslo go a hunt tigers and pandas. so....

  • Clearly it's a tough bird but one comes to recognize that eagles are scavengers. Perhaps the best bird to represent America.

  • haha American Savengers!!! all your fishes belongs to us...

  • hungry hungry birdies.

  • caralho olha so quantos corinthianos

  • eagles are tasty! kinda taste like whale, mixed with california condor.

  • Awesome!!!!!

  • yum yum yum yummysmothie12!

  • I'm happy when I see these fantastic, and I am amazed when I hear how faithfully defend this symbol, this magnificent creature. not only the authority but also by ordinary people, at the same time I feel sad for my country's eagle, which is not so lucky as her American sister.

  • @DDSquadPod well then, i guess it would make it ok to just take a knife and jab you in the neck then. cuz like you said, there aren't many occurrences. and in this case there are actually a LOT of occurrences with idiots like you crawling around.

  • Cleaning Crew

  • I don't know, but after watching some videos of eagles, it seems like the eagles in Alaska are tamer than those in the rest of the U.S. Not sure, just my feeling.

  • I love this bird, but the Cinereous vulture is the best !

  • woooow !!!

  • I just saw an eagle for the first time in my life and holy fuck were they big.. Like the size of a turkey...that can fly...

  • @TommieDuhWeirdo lol there are videos of a giant eagle or hawk

    taking down goats

  • Do you get many tourists because of the eagles you think?

  • Nice, a free cleaning service.

  • holy shit, bald Eagles are just like crows and seagulls up there in Alaska

  • that one is enjoying his food and not a care in the world

  • Awesome video! I love Bald Eagles! :) But that fishing net seems like a danger hazard for them....

  • i wish i saw a bald eagle with my own eyes

  • wow...gorgeous birds

  • they are like little dinosaurs

  • Fishing with nets, and without discretion, the Eagles are

  • WOW! I have never seen so many giant birds in one place at the same time.

  • this is basically how the Philadelphia eagles play football.

  • Beautiful

  • OMG is that even possible to have that many Bald Eagle in the presence of humans 8O

  • THAT IS AWESOME!!!!!!!! Thanks for sharing

  • That is a lot of patriotism right there!

  • So many eagles!

  • LOL! Instead of having pesky sea gulls like every other damned place on this earth... you guys have bald eagles.

  • @MarkMck1994 Seagulls are a protected species mr. Respect the endangered seagull

  • @PairoftheSocks

Actually Black-Headed Gull & Common Gull Kittiwake are protected species due to their rarity. However, all others are considered vermin, and can be killed on site without general licences.

  • @MarkMck1994 Here in oregon they are all protected regardless. I think it stupid.

  • @PairoftheSocks I Agree, they are a pain in the ass... also they "Aim" for moving targets when they need a poop... True fact. Thats why so many get poo'd on by them.

  • i wish we had them flying around like a normal flock of birds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! damm arizona sucks hahahahaha

  • bald eagles are bad ass. always liked them as a kid and I always will. they are unlike any other bird.

  • thats alot of eagels

  • I wish i could get as close to the as you did so i could take pictures. This is one of the main reasons i wanted to become a photographer in the first place

  • Wow so amazingly beautiful :) I love eagles <3

  • That eagle is really chowing down

  • neat how they learned how to walk on the net without getting cought.

  • Yet another way mankind is affecting natural ecosystems...

  • LOOK AT ALL THAT ;MERICA 0_0

  • Wow, that is a LOT of bald eagles. Where I live you might get that many pigeon in one place, but definitely not bald eagles.

  • @thelazeeone might? Where I live it's certain to see that many pidgeons at the bus station.

  • fuck alaska is pretty much canada, wtf it should be a part of canada

  • @1xCoDx1 You would go to prison for life! I can't believe you would even think about such a thing! Good thing you don't live here. You wouldn't last long anyway with thoughts like that. The eagles are beautiful creatures!

  • @pla1554alaska Would probably make great buffalo wings i bet

  • @1xCoDx1

    fucking loser

  • @1xCoDx1 your comment was very very unamerican....

  • @niwrem1 im not american!!!

    @45Automag ???

@pla1554alaska u think i would do it? of course not!! i was being an idiot when i said that sorry and its actually against my religion to kill animals for no reason, although they do creep me out a little.

@SRBENAVRBE92 same ^ and no u wouldnt, just sayin

@Cuvac im not a loser i was just being one when i wrote that

  • @1xCoDx1 thats like saying you want do destroy american you fuck head...

  • They actualy range as far south as Florida. I have a pic of a Bald Eagle perched on a fence when I was living in Kissimmee. I was shocked, to say the least.

  • Looks like you have yourself a NEW SUBSCRIBER! :D

  • Ive never seen so many in one spot. They are such magnificent creatures!

  • damn, i wanna have 1 as pet :(

  • wow they're so many!! i want one!!

  • my God they are absolutely beautiful creatures. ur so lucky to live among so many of them

  • sure hope none of them ever get snagged on that netting

  • I wanna see one in reality :[......

  • in america: OMG its a bald eagle!!

    Alaska: Its just fancy seaguls

  • @Holyworms That's cute but Alaska is America! We call the rest of the US "the lower 48" and then we call Hawaii "Hawaii". But thatnks for watching my video and thanks for the cute comment!

  • @pla1554alaska Agreed with the "Alaska" Comment. Ive been around this Country. Safely said about 30 of the states. Alaska not being one of them. I find it a rarity to see more than 1 eagle around the same grounds as another. Unless its mating season. Ive been fascinated but eagles all my life and have a great interest in them. Its weird to me how they will attack grizzlies but not a human. But this video actually blew me away. Thanks for the upload! =)

  • @pla1554alaska thanks you for making me look like an idiot... :( hahaha

  • @Holyworms LMAO! So true.

  • @Holyworms I do not live in the US but I thought Alaska is in America.

  • Gorgeous Birds of Prey!

  • Your videos are so cool! I've never seen an eagle up close. It's amazing that your cats are less than 1 foot away from these amazing creatures!

  • lol @ the stucked eagle xD

  • Awesome sight!

  • This is a really cool video! Thanks for sharing! :)

  • What is it that you can't do to bald eagles? There is something illegal about it.....was it feeding them from hand or having them as a pet or something? I honestly forgot.

  • @636roadrunner We can't touch them. If they make a nest somewhere that area is taken by the eagles. Some eagles made a nest in a crane here and now the crane can't be moved or used or anything. The crane is just there for the eagles nest. And the crane has been like that for years. If they are injured the only people that can capture them and send them to rehab are the state troopers. And no one can have them as a pet for sure.

  • @pla1554alaska im on my reservation and i have 2 as pets...lol fuck the law

  • @pla1554alaska Do the crane owners get reimbursed by the feds? Also, a bridge here had a Bald Eagle's nest under it a few years back.

  • @pla1554alaska sounds great

  • @636roadrunner Non natives may not do ANYTHING to a bald eagle, this includes harassing, ie; getting too close, feeding intentionally, removing feathers from an eagle carcass, or even having an eagle feather in your possession. Federal offences. Natives, on the other hand receive preferential treatment, and may have body parts and may, on some occasions kill bald eagles for ceremonial purposes.

  • @myprophet1 I am a Cherokee Indian and I was born on a reservatiion in Michigan. They worship bald eagles and would never harm one, not even for ceremonial purposes.

  • @636roadrunner it is also illegal to have eagle feathers or other parts unless one has a permit from the gov't (because so many are killed for trophies)

  • @inbetweentics No, anyone can have eagle feathers, so aslong those feathers have been shed from said bird naturally. Just walk anywhere in Alaska and you are sure to find one. :)

    You're talking about (16 U.S.C. 668(a); 50 CFR 22)

  • @J88Wolf i used to volunteer at one of the most well known raptor rehabilitation centers in the us and the founder of the organization who is one of the highest authorities on raptor rehabilitation poignantly told me that no anyone in america cannot just have shed eagle feathers without going through a whole series of paperwork with the federal gov't because it is endangered, etc. if one does possess eagle feathers without having gone thru the paperwork, they run the risk of serious fines.

  • @inbetweentics I'm very confused, I read over the laws, and they don't even mention anything about feathers, just Eggs, nests, migratory locations and the bird itself (dead OR alive). {: /

  • @J88Wolf i totally agree with you. i was rather stunned when this person told me that, but was warned the gov't really will come after someone with fines and such if they don't have PROPER PAPERWORK in order. i can certainly understand the protection issue w/regards to the poaching and the endangerment. i guess it's so hard to prove how you got them if it was naturally shed. i don't know. let's put it this way, if you have them naturally, don't advertise lol! ;)

  • @inbetweentics I haven't even seen a Bald Eagle in person, atleast not yet, I know they are in my state (AR) though. :) I have relatives in a county over that live on lakeside property and they see bald eagles dive into the lake to snatch up carp every so often.

  • @J88Wolf if you want a truly life changing event, become a volunteer at an area raptor rehabilitation organization, even if just a summer or something. i found wings and claws wildlife rehabilitation there in ar thru wildliferehabber d o t o r g that have fed permits for raptors (click view permits), so they may very well do some work with injured, etc, bald eagles. i had no idea how it would change me for the better after i did volunteer work and it's amazing. you look at life so differently.

  • @inbetweentics I don't think there is a place like that near my location, just a small nature center. I'm not surprised though, from what I could tell, our raptor population seems to be going up every year, esp. the local Owl population.

  • @J88Wolf i encourage you wholeheartedly to look into it - contact the different orgs i linked to you in the previous comment that are located in ar. you won't believe how bad it is for many of these raptors. know the saying out of site out of mind? until you get to see the numbers of them injured by power lines, gun shots, vehicles, etc, and then engage in rehabbing them (some can be released while others need a permanent sanctuary due to injuries), it's just life changing. my best wishes to you

  • man thats a sight lol, amazing!

  • Are those speckled eagles immature baldies or are they a different species entirely?

  • @FaitalRyuu They are very young bald eagles. It takes a bald eagle about 5 years to get the white head and white tail and black feathers. You should see the new babies in the nest! They have this fuzzy brown top on their head and their beak is black and they are speckled and brown. If you just saw them and didn't know you would never think that was an eagle. Thanks for watching!

  • @pla1554alaska

So if Eagles make a nest on top of my car, I am not allowed to drive my car??

  • So, if I throw a net outside my house full of dead rats, can I summon a bunch of Red-Tailed Hawks?

  • THIS IS THE GATHERING OF AMERICA.

  • WoW! I am so envious of you being able to be this close to, and happily not too feared by, these beautiful birds. Thanks again for sharing this amazing scene.

  • Great video! Thanks for sharing!

  • Eagles are majestic and beautiful but this reminds me of the pigeons sitting in park waiting for a hand out or the seagulls at almost any Los Angeles City beach waiting for some inexperienced peole to leave their picnic unguarded so they can pick thourgh at eat their sandwiches and chips. Even worse is when the seagulls take almost every bit of garbage out of a can to get some human waste. Its kind of sad.

  • @steveb391 They clean the nets for the guys repairing the nets so it's a good thing. There are about 850 eagles that live in our little town here so instead of all the pigeons we have eagles.

  • @pla1554alaska I for one know which one I'd rather have.

  • Comment removed

  • @bluegreen1138 Or we could come here on our own and view an upload that isn't tainted by mass media. It would be a shame to see a bunch of media turds there.

With any luck the fisherman could be driven out of business by the advertisers that hear about this location and decide, doritos must conquer it. (look at that, my spellcheck wants to capitalize doritos... perfect.).

    Colbert commanding eagles... Great.

I hope you thought about that as much as I.

    Your opinion, I know...

    This one was mine.

  • PS, I dont hate you, or Colbert. That said, I do hate your comment.

  • pretty cool nice video man
