Hmm, hold on! I thought that the x7510 version has the toggle and lights on the left side deleted, as well as the accelerometer. But this version has all of them- and, it also has Opera Mobile 9.5 and TouchFlo? I'm really confused. :/
Opera Mobile 9.5 is Flash compliant HOWEVER no Flashlite 3.0 has been made available for Windows Mobile, only Symbian.
If the Touch Diamond has an Email client as good as the Iphone's then it might be a competitor.
The Advantagenis too bulky to be compared with the Iphone. Other phones of a comparable size to the Iphone generally only have QVGA screens (the TyTn2 for example) so even with Opera Mobile 9.5 they still fall short of the Iphone's browsing experience.
Good video. vague, but good. You should make another video with just surfing. Going from site to site and browsing. I'm on the fence about getting an iPhone again or a tilt with this browser
Do you happen to know if Opera 9.5 works with Diigo or any other similar service (sharedcopy, etc) that supports web-page highlighting?
(All the mobile browsers I´ve used to date do not support the "highlighter" function, including Opera, so I cannot highlight any web document "on the go", which would be tremendoulsy useful for me).
I signed up for an account because I have never tried this before, but there does not seem to be a way to add the Diigo toolbar to a mobile browser. Any other online highlight tool you want me to try?
I was saying "Thanks!", and yes, there´s a way that works even with Opera 8.65: just ignore the toolbar, and install the "diigolet", going to tools / diigolet on the diigo page (can´t write it here). The diigolet is just a floating bar that does pretty much the same as the toolbar, but in 8.65 does not even appear, even though the rest of the functionalities (notes, etc) work perfectly. It´s actually very useful! (Well, it is, for me...:)
I forgot: if Diigo does not work (Diigo is the most useful service, IMO), you could also try Sharedcopy or The Awesome Highlighter, they both have onscreen floating bars like the "diigolet" and they both refuse to work with 8.65 or IE Mobile .. :(
The HTC Diamond is actually coming out with an even better version because HTC worked closely with Opera to optimize the browser. I too can't wait to try out that browser and device.
The best browser you have ever used? Have you used the iPhone before?
It looks nice, although all of the navigation is pretty clearly taken from Mobile Safari. What seems to be nice about this that Mobile Safari is lacking is being able to save content like pictures.
It still makes me sad to see that the application is half finger friendly, half stylus friendly as seems to be a problem with many mobile OSs.
Actually if you have gotten a chance to hmm "borrow" a copy of the 2.0 iPhone software beta if you tap an image in safari and hold it for a second you can save it directly to your camera roll
I have used the iPhone and still own one. The iPhone browser is very good and set the standard high. However, for writing blog posts and being a bit more productive this Opera Mobile 9.5 browser has more functionality.
The ROM on this device is not the final ROM so the finger navigation may be improved when I install the final ROM.

I tried out YouTube and it goes to the mobile page and then tapping on the video opens the Streaming Media utility.
Are there any other sites with Flash that you want me to try out?

Just to clarify: what does not appear on 8.65 is the "Highlighter" button (second one from the left), every other feature works fine.

Opera Mobile 9.5 owns !
To those saying finger navigation
honestly i wont like finger nav. if its faulty and believe me thats a lot of faults using your big thick fingers on a high res. screen !
I find using stylus more fault proof also cleaner .. after a long day with all the greasy fingers i wouldn't like to touch my phones screen !
So if this browser would come to the "htc Touch Diamond" I'm definitely buying it !

This comment has received too many negative votes show
Is that a stylus? BAWAHAHAHA. Make it usable with a finger then we'll talk.

Hi my friend,
1. In Opera Mobile is 'tabbed browsing' supported?
2. Can we open MHTML (.mht files) on Opera Mobile that we can usually save on desktop with IE, Opera or FireFox UnMHT extension?
I need to know
