Can you please tell me what program did you use to make that effect (your clothes are red, and the background is B&W )? Thanks alot. I really appreciate your work in Parkour and you have my respect. Greetings from Romania
@VivaLaDonkeys There has been a fence there, for a long time. And by law no one is allowed to go on the Dame Du Lac. Yes people ignore the warning signs and climb or traverse the fence to get in.
If you take a chance you may be the one who gets caught, it is up to you... I have been to Lisses 3 years in a row and each year things are getting more strict, the locals, i feel, are getting really annoyed with people not respecting their property. And I can see their point.
this is a very nice video, iv used this effect on one my latest conditioning video,
and anyways, i was wondering if you could give any advise for over coming fears, and trusting your self (footing, eye hand co,ordination) any better, because im not very happy with my progression and i would like to realy push myself but saftley and with a tryed and tested method, thanks alot
Breaking down fears as i've noticed for myself, have been breaking them down bit for bit. If you can't see yourself make a jump, you most often can't do it. And we all have different fears, perhaps similar, but tackled a different way. I'd say go at it head first, take a chance. Only do it alot, and perhaps at a smaller distance *depending on your "fear of"* and work yourself to your goal. And repeat it, it prob won't end cause of just one go. But repeatedly, and you'll batter it in to your mind
At 1:30 there is a transition between two places. The climbing structure is the Dame du Lac, just outside of Paris, France. The street shot is University avenue in Glasgow, Scotland.
Got any tips on imrpoving mental height barrier, Theres a level to level in my area and ive done it before but i had to spend literally 20 minutes pysching myself, then i go back there the next day and cant go for it. its not a big distance cos i've precisioned it but for some reason im scared to cat it. very grateful if you have any tips.
I love watching ur videos cos they are inspiring. peace
What I find most helpful is simply exposing yourself to heights as much as possible. The more that u expose yourself to heights and are in that environment, the calmer your mind will be and after a while hesitation won't be as much of a problem. Visualization could also help, imagining and seeing yourself doing the jump over and over in your head.
Yes mate, I eased off the conditioning over the summer and de-bulked, so I could become leaner and lighter and in turn jump further, with the foundation strength I had built up.
Although I will be increasing my condition again as winter is near and I need to get stronger and keep future injuries at a minimum.
Just a balance act between conditioning and technique training.
Big explaination, but I thought I should say why I became leaner.
Zeno.. no matter how u put it.. this IS still one of your best.. respect.. deepest respect.. te precission to the rail at: 1:39 - 1:41.. SICK as hell :P Not doin that man.. xd in a miljion years no ****** way.. XD RESPECT
Thats sick dude! I keep seeing it everywhere..where is the place at 3:28?? and Im moving to Dundee, from the US, in a month so maybe we oculd tain sometime!
i need to conquer my fears too. we had a gym jam today. tried doing precisions from one balance beam to another. didn't make it and almost slammed my knee on the beam. i told myself, i'm not ready yet. when i tried to measure if i could clear the distance from one balance beam to the next, I was able to. I guess I wasn't confident enough. Maybe next time. Any advice? Thanks!!
ive got some advice, just start small and work up and up. literally 3 weeks ago i couldnt do any sort of rail precisions and i found this palce with a rail about 2 foot off the floor so i got a wooden palet and made the distance bigger and bigger. gave me the confidence to take it higher now I really love all rail stuff. :D hope this helps
thanks for the advice mate. i am starting small. found a spot with rails 2 feet off the ground. that's where i'm training my precisions. eventually i'll get to that level you guys are able to do. thanks Laws27. deepest respect to you Zeno. you inspire a lot of us with what you're doing. i only hope to be able to reach your level as i know the clock's ticking. hehehe. i'm only getting older. :-P cheers mate!!!
Mystic and powerful video Zeno! :) You have worked on precisions very well. Wall runs and cat leaps are done great as well! I hope these months were a victory on your fears and barriers!
Dude, totally, totally fucking tremendous! Your moves are something else entirely and the editing/production takes it to a different level. Awesome work once again!
Good video as always man! Very controlled movement, like the running precision at 00.24, which was great one! It is a good thing that you decided to work on your mental levels as well. Also nice to see that you are constantly making progress.
damn zeno talk about crazy u are seriously a inspiration to parkour and the community of it just WOW man keep rocking love this video 5/5 hope u get known around the world, hope everyone talks about u one day keep at it peace also check my 1 year in the making for parkour when u can please peace
he's just like me and basically every traceur. When ur thinking conquering fears, the first thing that pops in ur head is precisions. Every good traceur reaches the precision jump obstacle in their path, and it tends to be a greater obstacle than others. But when u conquer it, it sumtimes tends to be one of ur greatest strengths, like with Daniel Arroyo
Lovely, more and more i'm starting to notice now its more your mind thats holding you back from doing things, your body can be capable of something but your mind just says no, you have done well to show you yourself overcoming these boundries, the stuff in this video is great and i no first hand looking at alot of stuff now, its scary and now as experienced as you are your obstacles are gonna get harder but you have got to go for it, and be proud when you overcome it, well done and keep it up
Well nice :) Lots of nice arm jumps + precision, the control's really good. You seem to be hesitating on the rail precisions, are these a fear/mental barrier you've been working on? Some refreshing stuff in there, keep it up! :)
I see the gingerbread man`s inspiring words of the chocolate buttons have left a definite mark lol.
Joking aside though that was a great video, the precisions were really nice and going on to the post box, putting your magic beanie on and then back on to the rail, haha, class !
Well done man, i know what it feels like to be in your position because i am going through my fear barriers as well.
Lol, that was the cheesiest parkour video ever, but well done. Very creative, and I don't believe you climbed up that big French statue thing! was that in George Square? Immense.
