Time apart is not a bad thing, if you guys have been together for a year it is most likely a serious relationship. Some people need time to evaluate if A.this is what they want to be in and B.if this is who I want to be with. Space is not a bad thing, so give her what she wants. If you smother her, she will only push away more. If she wanted to end it, she would have ended it. Go do whatever you do in your freetime, and stop worrying about her. Focus on yourself.
