The engine looks all iced over. At least u won't have overheating problems. Propane is also a lubricant.

That looks like it was a costly experiment. You are just futzing around with a broken rc airplane motor and blowing steam through a machine that has no lubrication.

Once the piston seal is worn out, the experiment is over.

ok if you want a real ass kicking steam engine, that requiers little if no oil or lubercation, get your self a air wratchet or a cheep air tool take the guts out of the wratchet end cut the shaft off short so the shaft sticks out weld a arber onto the end with threads on it, run your steam in though the ait inlet, you wont need a fly wheel cause it will act like a turbine engine, have fun, D/C, a machine shop can cut threads on the shaft too!

could probably do a bunch better with larger exhaust ports, most uniflow's do benefit from it.

No one seems to have told you yet so I will.

This is EXTREAMLY DANGEROUS.

That tank is not meant to be heated up, heating and cooling and then re-heating and cooling etc can drastically alter the strength of the tank and a catastrophic explosion could cause serious injury or even death. This is not a joke.

An extream version of what I mean can be found with a search for 'x2econd' watch the boiler explosion.

On the plus side... I do like the engine.
