  • what the fuck does abortion have to do with gun safety?

  • Its good their is someone talking about safety of weapons. Thank you and God Bless.

  • dude will u just show the damn gun

  • @TheM9Beretta It should have been clear from the very beginning of the video that this was about safety and more political in nature rather than a review. If you want gun porn or a review, watch a video where that's the intent.

  • I STRONGLY AGREE WITH YOU SIR !

  • Good video. However, remember that liberal gun-grabbers are emotionally driven and all the logic in the world is wasted on them.

  • Nice work, Axe! Keep it up.

  • Does this man seriously believe that people hold their finger responsible for their firearms safety? of course it's your mind that is in control. we say finger as a synecdoche to your mind. He's he idiot.

  • @XxGRAPESTREETxX Actually, I'm a Mensa member and you can't capitalize or spell. So who's the idiot? The person who says something that will just further inflame the anti-gun crowd (with the trigger finger motion), or the person who's trying to educate people in a well-spoken manner? My compliments on the use of the word 'synecdoche', but I'm afraid you failed the manners test when you launched into name calling.

  • @XxGRAPESTREETxX "He's he idiot." - Way to make a point.....

  • great videos i agree with you 100% on all issues i wish us canadians had the same rights as you

  • very good vids and well spoken i agree with you on all issues 100%.i wish us canadians had the right for self defence keep the vids coming

  • Great Video!...well at least the first part about the 4 basic rules!

  • That gun is sexy as hell england needs to legalise guns like america

  • well said my friend.

  • just wondering, how much does a kimber model cost? I've been hearing they're more exspensive than the origional colt

  • @S3CT10N88 Kimbers can be pricey, and I don't necessarily feel they're worth the premium. They've had a lot of QC issues in the past few years. Colts are expensive too, though. Heck any good 1911 is expensive. I think the best balance of cost and quality these days is probably a Springfield Armory Loaded model. (And last I knew, Kimbers started at $700, but that can vary by region, and with inflation will likely only go up.)

  • пиндос блядь)

  • Hi. My son asked me for an airsoft gun today. I said I would only let him get it if we go over gun safety together. Do you believe that our children should be taught proper gun safety or should they wait to learn about guns when they are close to adulthood? I would just like to see your opinion on this issue.

  • @stratkillsgibson67 I'm a firm believer that we should gun-proofing our kids and teaching them firearm safety. I learned to shoot in the Boy Scouts (real firearms), and kids learned to hunt and shoot from childhood in this country for generations. There's nothing wrong with it. What's wrong today is the way we raise our kids, with no discipline. THAT is where the problems stem from. I believe giving them responsibility brings character.

  • Thanks for the vid. I ran across it while researching the Kimber 1911. I think we have very different views on many things (I'm an agnostic who believes gays should have every right to marry, for example), we share a belief in gun possession as a fundamental right. I appreciate your clear and articulate argument, and I hope it helps educate those who might not otherwise understand due to a lack of knowledge. Well done!

  • @TheJasonWilliam Thank you! The whole point of the video was that we may disagree on some social issues, but self-defense is a human right and shouldn't be denied.

You're welcome at my dinner table any time, sir. Thanks for keeping it classy.

  • just don't see why you need to say you don't agree with the homosexual community. Doesn't relate to a safety video. Might as well tell us all your political views in a kimber 1911 safety video. Maybe some of your likes and dislikes as well........... How come you didn't mention if you like pizza? what about mac & cheese? please tell me more pointless shit because according to you i may not be "intelligent enough"

sorry if i raised any "hubbub""

  • You try to hard to be something you aren't. Smart. So just stop.

  • @wisconsindrunkard Actually, I'm a Mensa member (#100257114)- top 2% in the world for intelligence. But nice try with your insult. Just make sure your ducks are in a row, first.

Again, politics are the very essence of defeating the anti-gun people and THAT is my real focus. I'm sorry you misunderstood. The point with the quip on homosexuality is that we're talking about a right of self-protection and that it should transcend other differences we may have.

So yeah, you're rude idiot. Blocked.

  • @floatingaxehead

That was one thought out compliment. I don't think that anyone with the name "Wisconsindrunkard" has a right to insult your intelligence, and more less anyone else's.

Due to your impeccable speaking ability and knowledge of firearms, you changed my liberal friend libertarian.

We need more people in the world with your intelligence.

  • @VMFA115Starloric Thanks for the kind words!

  • @floatingaxehead

In the first sentence I meant comment, sorry.

  • wtf are you talking about?!?!? some good info on the safeties, but everything else sucked. your video should have been 2 minutes max. no one cares about your politics on homo's and shit-jesus, really?!?!?!?

  • @wisconsindrunkard Drunkard, I'm afraid your screen name may be too appropriate. Politics are the very essence of defeating the lies and hysteria of the anti-gun crowd. If you're not intelligent enough to see we have to take their very arguments away from them, or incapable of leaving a comment like an adult without profanity, I would ask you to kindly sit down and be quiet so the rest of us can try and earn a better reputation than what you would give us.

  • very well done brother

  • That is a beautiful Kimber! I presume it is part of the tactical series? Can you also tell me what the difference is between the tactical, and the tactical "entry"?

  • @kurryAN25 The Tactical series have a couple of variations, and they're mostly size. However the Entry is a little different in that it has a railed frame. The gun in this video is an older Tactical Custom II (full size), back when they were still coming in the two-tone.

  • hey man has anybody ever told you that you look a little like Gary Busey?

  • @Dmugs1010 Not 'til just last week, but my Dad used to get that all the time. LOL.

  • nice to see America's young men talking smart. Too many kids nowadays are not articulate nor educated on the safe use of firearms. Love the Kimber. And I'm also glad to see the young correctly using the beloved 1911. BZ sir!

  • the ending comment was awesome man, straight white christians with a gun people will find anything to add to gun owner in order to keep up the ignorant myth of violent firearm owners.

  • awesome vid man, im giving a speech about firearm safety to my class on Tues

  • he reminds me of an adult version of the kid from home alone..lmao

  • Dude I like the way you thing. I am a life member of NRA, 3 time Golden Eagle Award. This is one of the best Kimber 1911 videos, it speaks volumes about American quality which has suffered from years of neglect. I believe that firearms safety is important and home protection laws should be a natural 50 state given. Living in Westmoreland County, Pa [no license is required for a pistol for home protection]. In states/ counties with "Home Protection" laws crimes are way down .

  • never say never, I like the series 70m but I wouldn't throw that kimber out of my safe.

  • Very well put together, sir. I spent 4 years in the Corps, and have been around firearms my entire life- and I'd have to say that this is the first time I've ever seen someone correctly demonstrate the safe handling of a firearm. I do not believe in carrying or owning a firearm, for my own reasons, but have always been in awe at the ridiculous amount of ignorance towards firearms, for both those that I've met that carry- and those that do not. I'll make sure to point them to this video.

  • @mrniceguy121 That was a hugely complimentary post, sir. Thank you.

  • Wow, this was a great video. Very informative and to the point. Keep it up, man!

  • you sound like your reading this off of the computer when your talking

  • I rehearsed this one a little, but not much. I get my talking points in order, but from there it's all done on the fly.

  • Great job, and fantastic sidearm my fellow Libertarian Tucsonan.

  • "it's just bad manners" that's so great lol. Great video by the way

  • Great video. It is good to finally have responsible and professional citizens speaking for gun rights.

  • great video now a subscriber forsure.

  • Great video BTW Float!

  • @Snooopey, your a moron. Your living in a perfect place for you, stay there.

  • First, let's try spelling. "Write" and "right" are two different things.

Second, are the cops in Birmingham still outgunned? Weird how criminals still have arms but citizens can't defend themselves, isn't it?

I suggest you learn more, before espousing stuff like this. 15, 000 deaths in the US is outweighed by 2,500,000 legal, annual defensive uses. And only 0.9% of the time is the gun ever fired.

Time to come to grips with reality, sir.

  • @floatingaxehead Thank god for you sir! I have been shot 2 times in both combat and self defense scenarios. One time i was armed with a Glock 19 and a Kimber 1911 custom when a man from the behind the gas station came at me with a knife. I chose the glock out of instinct for reliability reasons and beat him over the head, never wasting a round and not even off safety. Cant beat that for accuracy and gun control at the same time,

  • @floatingaxehead yeah dude, and people in the whitehouse are trying to take our guns away... here in Brownsville, Tx we can't even buy an AR15 anymore, we used to pride ourselves here in texas on our firarms, but now i hear that we need to pay a yearly tax, and register ourselves with the DHS as gun owners. We have a drug war going on not 15 miles away, and they want us to just sit here, and not be defensive, thank you for this great video and instruction! ALWAYS treat a firearm like its loaded

  • If the police are the only ones with firearms that means whoever controls them has power over the populace. I'm all for police, but it' good that there are checks in place so that police don't break down doors of law abiding citizens. If someone invades my home and threatens my family, you're damn right that I will not hesitate to defend them. If that means taking the criminals life, so be it. It was his decision to break the law and threaten me in the first place - his fault he got shot.

  • Are you aware your murder rate is not much lower than the US and your overall rate of index crime is actually higher than it is in the US. By the way, how do you suggest a thin female defend herself?

  • Isnt there anything in this world that you love so much that you would kill to defend? Yes human life is precious but when its your life or the ones you love are in danger, the other guy's life (who is threatening yours) is nothing

  • Illegalizing something doesn't get it off the streets, it only takes it away from the people who actually use it for good. If in doubt look at Detroit. If a car jacker gets killed while trying to jack a woman's car, then it provides incentive for other car jackers to think twice. Crime rates go down. Muggers will always have to think about whether or not their potential victims have a gun.

  • @SNOOOPEY If guns kill people, mine must be broken

If guns kill people pencils must lie

When seconds count, cops are only minutes away

  • If guns kill people, then Hostess made Rosie Odonnell fat.

  • You do realize badguys can take A LOT of pain, including mortal wounds before they go down and defensive nonlethal martial art tactics take a long time to get down right pat and might not be usefull in many situations. You do have the right to kill if somebody is about to murder you or pulls a gun on you.

  • right... "bad" guys have super powers...

  • @jfizzay

No, not super powers. Anger, determination, fear, and drugs can do crazy shit. You can still fire a gun while wounded from a shot to the chest.

  • no, its called adrenaline, and its one hell of a hormone. Its the strongest vasopressor we know of, and because of this it enables the body to do amazing things in the most dire situations. When released, adrenaline raises blood pressure, constricts vessels and veins (which in turn controls bleeding of wounds), increases the strength of all muscles, especially that of the heart. It increases metabolism, increases blood coagulation, and protects the body from shock, and increases pain resistance

  • Cont'd

Also if this person is high on amphetamines, good luck trying to stop them. The mix of uppers and adrenaline will make them quite hard to stop or control

So, maybe you should know a little more about the subject matter before you criticize someone else.

  • @SNOOOPEY You realize that, under the right circumstances, you could punch someone once, they go down, hit their head and die? It's happened before. All methods of self defense carry some risk because you're DEFENDING yourself which means someone else is going to get hurt.

By the way, I know this isn't the main point of the video, but that gun is freakin beautiful man. My dad had an old ass 1911 and it's just the best range gun ever. Too bad it costs so much money to go to the range now.

  • Good job man. Fags! My God. How did nature make this mistake?

  • If a constitutional right is amended or revoked we must come together as a nation, as a free and independent Militia, and restore our rights. This is our duty to our people and our country. This is our lives not theirs, we do not need a Government to disarm our people and leave us vulnerable for attack. I am not a fanatic, or an extremist. I am a normal happy guy that owns a firearm to protect his life and will not let anyone take it away from me.

  • Gay marriage and gay rights politics don't coincide with the constitutional right to bear arms. We as a Country must form a Militia capable of overthrowing our own Government if it should be corrupted. We have the right to defend our life and the lives of the people around us. We have the right to be free and independent of restriction of the U.S. Constitution. Whether you believe in gun control, or support firearm ownership, a RIGHT is a not a privilege.

  • I guess there using cheap ammo or not taking care of there guns? Cause apparently kimbers are supposed to rock, and I have believed they have for quite some while. Anyway, just wanted your opinion.

  • Hey man how are you liking your kimber? I thought they looked like just about the nicest pistol ever, but I have heard a lot of arguing about how the msh (main spring housing) is made out of plastic or something. I really dont think its that big of a deal, and if it is you can get a replacement silver housing off of kimbers store for like 20 bucks, but ive also seen some guys shooting there sis, and it kept jamming, in several videos.

  • Mine's awesome. Plastic MSH?! Ha! I've heard of it, but not on my gun- mine has the extended mag well, and it's built into the MSH. Good to go.

I have just traded it in as a deposit on one of the last SIS R/Ls though. Can't wait!

  • @floatingaxehead Oh nice man, the sis series looked nice, but i am kinda shying away from it when i saw it jamming up.

  • WOW, finally someone who can speak well and sound like they are educated, and talk about guns at the same time.Very good.I own a .380 and I am taking a concealed weapons class next month. We have to go out on to the range with an instructer and pass a safety test before we are allowed in the class. We must be able to handle a firearm safely ,load ,unload, fire the weapon etc.. while handleing the gun in safe manner.looking forward to more saftey videos.

  • Nice vid. Especially since I am considering getting a 1911 soon. What Kimber model is that???

(On a side note I would submit that I think supporting people's freedom to defend their lives but not supporting their desire to live out THEIR lives as they see fit is not a congruent position. To support Freedom is to support every individual's freedom, even those who are/choose/live different than you. )

    Thanks again for the vid!!!

  • At what point did I say anything advocating prevention of people to live their lives as they see fit?! What are people reading into this video?

  • You said you don't agree with the homosexual community. I assume that means regarding their sexual orientation. I am merely making an observation that in my opinion someone who supports homosexual's right to defend their lives should also support their other rights within our nation. You mentioned the ways in which you support gays and omitted any support for their other rights. It actually sounds like you support them inspite of their "gayness".

  • I cannot comment on what people are reading about ur vid but you brought up supporting gays. I never said you prevented anything but it does sound like you may not support them in other areas rights.I think that is incongruent. That is all. And can you share what kind of Kimber that is? Thanks

  • I fail to see any area of incongruence. After all, I'm entitled to my beliefs as well, aren't I? Just because I don't support them doesn't mean I actively oppose them either. My focus is on the human right of survival- politics and pride parades aren't my concern. They're two distinctly separate issues.

It's an older Tactical Custom II, with the 2-tone frame/slide. I just traded it in actually as a deposit on one of the last SIS R/Ls!

  • Cool, I'll agree that its just a difference of opinion. You most certainly have a right to your beliefs as do I. I just try to keep in mind that my beliefs or lack there of may and indeed do affect the world around me. Positively and/or negatively.

About guns those SIS's are awesome guns. Kinda suck that its being discontinued. Then again the 1911 market is huge and full of options. Thanks for the conversation. I look forward to a vid on the SIS and range report in the future.

  • I think we're on the same page now.

There are many reasons why I wanted the SIS, but one of the big ones is the lack of the Series II firing pin block! Some people take issue with the Schwartz-type safety (engaged by the grip safety) due to timing issues. Now the only II-less Kimbers are the Warriors- so I have to get my hands on a Desert Warrior, too! LOL. I'm spending way too much money on this stuff...

  • hahaha

    Don't we all???

Too many wants and not enough dollars. I have higher priority projects but I would love a Dessert Warrior.

  • Hey so how is the SIS i am looking in to bying a Kimber and that model cought my attention also considerng the raptor and the eclipse. good vid by the way

  • Fine overall video but there is one mistake. Using you head is the number 1 safety! And with you being a responsible gun owner you should know a safety is a mechanic device that can fail! Third do not insult American weapon owners with saying we are stupid because we say our trigger finger is also a safety. Remember keep your finger off the trigger till your ready to fire. Hence a safety. But all safeties whether mechanical or otherwise all lead back to the number 1 safety of using your HEAD!

  • Well I'll agree with you there- using your head should be number one!

The finger thing? Man, that just reinforces a negative stereotype the anti-gun people already have of us- and giving them more ammo to use against IS stupid. Do you see what I mean?

  • Good video. You are a straight shooter. And I mean that in a good way. 0:-)

  • I would shut you down white boy. Fucking conservative right wing fucker.

  • And you show all the tolerance and even-mindedness of the left wing. Good job. Nice to see you can make such an intelligent and well-reasoned argument for your point of view.

  • yes we are conservative and we do own guns, u got a problem with that, then to bad. lol

  • very helpful

  • never herd of the pink pistol group before

  • well said.

I like the way you think before you talk.

In my opinion gun control isnt about guns, its about control.

  • Hate speech?! May I suggest you're simply over-sensitive? I never bashed on your beliefs, and feel that you're entitled to them. All I did was simply admit where I'm coming from- not demand others do the same. You're the one who felt the need to preach with "fake son of nothing". I never touched it other than to misspeak and say I attend church daily when I meant weekly. I'm a CCW instructor now- I've never had a student say I scared them away...

  • holy shit, the Aryan Brotherood

    is covering firearm safety?

    hahaha sorry, couldnt resist.

    great video man.

  • I was going to say the 4th safety was the brain before you did the "finger" as a safety.

    Good video, nay, GREAT video.

  • That is one heck of a clean pistol! Love your podcast!

  • did the original 1911 have the firing pin block?

  • Nope.

  • how did u get the hammer blued? the ones on the kimber site are stainless

  • This is an older version of the Tactical Custom II, my frame and slide have a two-tone effect. New ones are all black. It's just the way it came...

  • @floatingaxehead o ok thaks

  • good vid, definately the same way i feel about guns and gun safety. I am looking to buy A Kimber soon.

  • on a positive note, loved the rest of the video - and learned a lot. My Father and I had a debate about the actual safety of a hammer cocked kimber (i carry a Tac Ultra and 5" CDP2) and we weren't able to figure out what would stop the firing pin from contacting if the gun was dropped. Great info.. Thanks

  • I don't have time to read all the responses, but I'm sure by now you've been told that when someone refers to their trigger finger as being the last line of safety, it's clearly a metaphor for one using their knowledge and judgment. I do, however, like that you felt the need to call the many of us idiots. I'll make sure to point out the path between the brain and finger if we ever meet.

  • You say metaphor, I say it reinforces a damaging stereotype of us 'gun nuts' to the anti-gun folks. So yeah, it's pretty idiotic to repeat. I would rather people were quoting something intelligent like Col Jeff Cooper, rather than "bumper sticker logic" or Black Hawk Down.

  • Great video. Thank God there are people who think this way.

  • Great Video, I also share your values, keep up the good work.

  • good video bro. Kimber and wilson combat all the way!

  • calm down uncle sam, i agree with gun safety, and self defense, bring religion into this is just not a step you should take

  • I don't recall as I was preaching. Maybe you're the one that needs to calm down.

  • You're right on. Regardless of what your religion is or what life style you choose, live and let live. You should always have the freedom to live the way you want and protect yourself and your right to do so. Awesome videos man.

  • good vid! i've been looking at buying a handgun in the near future and was looking at the 1911, your informational video just made me a believer

    thanks!

  • Good video man.

  • Safety (and gun rights) explained in an intelligent and mature manner, Thank you- you're right on.

  • good man

  • Excellent video, as are your others! I'm also a 1911 man, and I'm glad to see videos like this to clear the air, and show how the 1911A1 design is a very safe design.

  • Nice job,brother....

  • "its not about guns; its about freedom, and the ability to defend yourself"

right on man, not only am I too a lover of 1911 firearms, but you really put your points across in an intelligent manner, seemingly in an effort to educate. kudos

  • you, sir, are freaking awesome!

  • You look so tense and a bit too serious in the video :S.

But I have to hand it to you, you know your stuff... and as a conservative Christian and just plain out a good guy with a good head on your shoulders, I Respect you. 5/5 =]

  • you've got a straight head on and mouth to back it up. I salute you.

  • but we have illegal weapons from Yugoslavian war in abundance, so we don't give a fuck about low :)

  • jedi govna ti i serbija :)

  • ahahaahhahaaaa

  • Very well said Sir. I just saw this video and had to subscribe. All valid points. Thanks.5*s

  • well done sir

  • good video

Im not gay but think yes anyone who wants to hurt you deserves to get whats comming to them

if the whole country was armed, we would not have more Virginia tech's

  • You're my kind of guy, I couldn't agree more with the things you've said. Great video on the 1911 as well. I'm dyin' for one, got the fever...

  • Outstanding video, I'll be picking up my Kimber in a few days.

The first safety rule, I feel, is probably the most important. If you treat all weapons, loaded or unloaded, as if they were live you'll ingrain safe habits, which naturally follow the other safety rules.

Once these habits are established safe handling becomes almost subconscious, and second nature.

  • Just follow the rules of gun safety.

  • Good video. I have a 1911 pistol. A 1911 pistol is a good choice with training. The single action trigger is light and your first shot is single action. It is a light trigger pull and affords you accuracy. I am a fan of the CZ 75 for the same reason. A cocked and locked carry is not unsafe.

  • THis man is DAMN right. HEre in germany when you get menaced and report it to the police you want safety of course because you are afraid of attacks. They tell you that first something has to happen otherwise they can´t do ANYTHING. This means that someone has to break you leggs first until the police intervens... That´s why I would like to protect myself with a gun. Unfortunately not possible in germany cause we´re not allowed to own guns... not even handguns.. only shootingclub members

  • In the USA, we can buy guns without a license/permit. All the is needed is a background check and 10 day wait.

There are people who are fighting to make the laws more like UK/Germany, but there are a large group of people, like NRA, that fight back the ban people.

Banning guns will cause more violence against law abiding citizens and only serves to protect the criminals!

I think it is shameful that guns are banned in Germany again. Back in the 30s-40s, Germany banned the Jews for owning guns..

  • Guess I´ve got to move to U.S.A.

You´re right about everything you said.

  • Here in Serbia,if you want to buy gun legally First you mustn't be convicted of any offense, then You mustn't live with anyone who was convicted in the same house ... then they talk with your neighbors, find out who you are, if you're prone to violence .... then you have to have really good reason for weapon holding (who you are so afraid off, who would want to rob you), then you must go to the ten-day course of handling weapons, every year you must pay taxes for weapon holding

  • right! and that's how they regulate fellow serbs! imagine how they must have harassed Croats and Bosnian's when Serbs were running "Yugoslavia"!

  • you don't know nothing about yugoslavia,so shut up.........(bosnians are serbs,70% are orthodox, and 30% converted to islam).....in WWII croats killed hundreds of thousands of serbs, but after war,we didnt asked them to pay us for that,no,we brought josip broz tito(who is croat) to rule our state........don't talk about something you cant understand

  • WWI was terrible for EVERYONE so don't be such a victim. Fast-forward 50 years and look at what you Serbian pigs did. This is your generation. Who "pays" for that? The only way to forgive Serbians is if you erect a statue of Bill Clinton in downtown Belgrade.

  • if you are really interested in recent history,i suggest you find some informations on internet,or read some books if you want.....i don't know where did you heard so much bad stuff,i suppose from ccn,and bbc,but that is just propaganda....yes ,we did some bad things, but croats did to,and bosniaks....the war is not american movie, where you have good and bad people...in war it is all mixed....my whole family from croatia was killed in croatian camps,so stop bullshitting....am i clear?!

  • You brought up the war bullshit, not me. I've read all the history, thank you, even the propaganda you call history. Tesla was Croatian.

  • his father was orthodox priest, and his mothers father to......an he dedicated all his work to serbia, and his all family was serbian.....and all the world see him as a famous serb, butt he is croatian ahahahahaa.....yes and ramush haradinay and other albanian terrorists are serbs, because they were born in serbia, yes yes

  • which amounts to approximately 10% of the average monthly salary, plus one bullet costs 1 U.S. dollar, and pistols are more expensive than in us for about 250% (basic model of Sig p226 is 2500 $...)... even if you're willing to do all of that, only police officers can carry their weapons with them....you can get permit to carry your handgun only for one day,and only if you bring proof that that day you went to a licensed shooting range ......

  • I really do approve of this video. Do you own anymore Kimber pistols?

  • I don't any more Kimbers- yet. LOL. I've been eyeing the SIS with rail, and/or maybe the Desert Warrior. I've come to be a big believer in having a weapon-mounted light, and neither of those have the Series II firing pin block. I like to reduce mechanical complexity wherever possible, and a lightweight pin and heavier Wolff spring can accomplish the same degree of safety, but in a simpler way.

  • +100 on Wolff springs: installing them solves common problems with weak springs!

My TLE/RL2 uses an external extractor, and I use Wolff's sping on it to prevent any issues. When the time comes, I will replace the recoil, firing pin, and mainspring housing springs with Wolff springs.

  • Could you do an informative presentation on pin strikers like Glock 9mms or Ruger Sr9? Very informative, by the way, existence prceeds essence. Sorry, athiestic existentialists are firearms advocates as well.

  • I will probably be doing a detail strip and explanation of the Glock soon. There are already a number of good videos on YouTube, but I keep getting requests. The trick is finding a unique take on it, but I think I've got it. Hope to have it up soon.

I couldn't care less if a firearms advocate is an atheist. Just glad to have you on our side! ^_^

  • well done.

  • you go to church everyday? why? there's no "God" and the earth isn't 11,000 yrs old either. it's all a myth.

  • I misspoke, and meant to say "weekly". No God is your opinion, however. I believe in God, based on the sheer mathematical odds against evolution (How diverse is life on this planet? And all from the same first living cell? Yeah, sure...), and the 50/50 shot that God either exists or doesn't. Using Occam's Razor, I'm erring on the side of intelligent design.

  • Excellent video. You told me a couple things about the firing pin block I didn't know.

The abortion thing was a little out of left field, though, and I couldn't tell which side of that debate you were on until the very end.

  • Wow. Such an eloquent comment. I'm sure you'll persuade lots of people with an attitude like.

OR, you could be just smart enough to listen to what I said, about EDUCATION being the key. I said that, to try and trap the stereotypical liberal with their own phrases. And in either case, if you are truly after the facts rather than an agenda, I believe the conservative view comes out as the only moral alternative.

I'm sorry you're not smart enough to realize that and must resort to foul language.

  • So I guess masturbating is better than abortion ? Realisticaly speaking, its all the same.

  • a baby with no memories....no name...and why would you want a child to live a miserable life i mean if abortion is an option the child is unwanted and therefore will be treated like garbage

  • These safety features on the 1911 are one of the MAJOR reasons calling towards this pistol.

  • dame thats a sexy kimber... for some reason i dont usually like the looks of kimbers... if you read both comments of mine you dont haev to respond to my question on your other video about what gun it is :) nice piece :)

  • Glock is mine as well. living in east tucson i dont see many people open carrying( still waiting on cc in mail, but i get a lot " seeing people carry makes me feel safe" from convience store owners. I will continue to open carry the g17 2nd edition and conceal when necessary

  • what do you think about glock safty's?

  • A Glock is my daily carry gun, and I have full confidence in it. But I should probably do a video on it as well...

  • Very well said...i am not a conservative libertarian who goes to church but i completely agree. Guns aren't the issue people irresponsible people are the issue.

  • Bad camera angle. I can see right up your nose.

  • well said. lad to see a responsible face other than some redneck, advocating EDC and gun safety.

nice kimber, I EDC the ultra carry 2 with the crimson trace laser grips. i love kimbers.

  • the only thing i would add to this is that if you have children, it's a good idea to store your ammo in a different place then your weapons. the only exception is for your home defense weapon, but keep it out of sight and preferably unload with a mag near by.

  • i am a moderate liberal, an Atheist, and a gun owner. i totally agree with you on gun safety and i really liked what you said about using reason, and coming to a common understanding.

i love the grip safety b/c there where a couple of times, when standing watch in the navy, i accidentally disengaged the safety while holstering it. i was watching what i was doing so i caught it right away, but it's still a hazard.
