BTW there is currently no jailbreak avalable, but there is almost no need now.

I have heard things from friends (who also have the 2g iTouch) that you might have to disassemble it & modify some of its hardware in order for the jailbreak to work.

Also for anyone who doesnt know the 1st gen & the 2nd gen run different firmware because of the speaker & the new blue tooth chip (for nike+)
