@mpm111144 Honestly i would think about one of the spider 4 (IV) bc they emulate ( copy ) the sound of huge amp models like mesa boogie, randall. ect. but they sound really good, they are versitile and even the 15 watter, doesnt have background noise and you dont need a foot pedal to have good sounds. go read some reviews. or a peavey viper, they are very simular, the peavey doesnt have as many presets but they have more distinct tones. your choice, hope this helps :D
at 8 months self taught you should still be focusing on basics. If you try to play stuff like this there will be major holes in your technique and you'll massively limit your potential. If you don't wanna pay for lessons I'd suggest looking up youtube tutorials on different things like pentatonic scales and palm muting etc. Also remember it's important to keep for fingertips close to the strings for speed.

I'm practicing the scales, and learning the notes of the fret board. Slowing down some too, 'cause I was playing WAY too fast. i need a new amp that gets louder than my drummer......whats the volume capability of this one.......cuz i know when u turn some amps past 7 they hit too hard and u get a sucky rumble effect or some nasty feedback vibration noise......help me out,,,,,my email is kamakazi103@yahoo.com

@kamakazi103 just do what im doing. I'm getting the line 6 spider iv 150 watt, the biggest combo amp they make and i've used one before and they aren't just louder than your drummer, lol, they are perfect for gigs aswell!
