I agree. I CAN'T STAND The View anymore (and I've never liked Elisabeth). I only started watching when Rosie joined. Been a Rosie fan for years.

Needless to say, I don't watch The View anymore. Now I watch Wendy Williams and The Talk instead. Love those shows! (Especially The Talk [on CBS] which uses a format very similar to The View, only the ladies are much more likable & talk about meaningful, relatable topics as opposed to talking about meaningless tabloid gossip like The View does.)

Oh, how I miss Rosie on "The View"! I wish she had stayed and dealt with the famous fraud with Liz differently. She should have came back the next day and said things got a little heated yesterday over a difference of opinion. All is well here and we move on. Rosie brought a much added ingredient to the show that is sourly missed. I tried watching it after she left but it isn't the same. I am in LA and started watching "Good Day LA" .

I think maybe the fact they had all the political "fights" on the program drew alot of viewers. talk shows in general had an increase in viewer numbers due to the political content injected into the programs.

Rosie was funny and had an opinion. She boosted the ratings of the show and increased the giveaways. She also carried a successful t.v. show on her own for a few years. It is a shame that a lack of respect for her political views/opinions ended her time on the show.
