I read it. And that does not change the fact that the game itself was still not good. Yes the locilaztion was pretty bad, but my personal problem with it was it was repetative, looked horrible, sounded horrible and i didnt feel and satisfaction from wining. The second fixed many problems but not graphicly and sound. Heroes fixed only one thing, repeat characters. The third is by far the best of the series and the only fault i can give it is lack of challange and half the charecters are gone.

I guess I agree 100% with you, though I prefer 16 characters than 30 with 15 being the same as the other 15...in any case it evens out thanks to the huge voice acting (It must have taken a while to be done) and the fun gameplay.

Though the only repeat charecters where in both versions of 2 and one, the new release of 3 promises to make most npcs playable, and not only that, but there is talk of matsunaga hisahide to be a playable character. Right now it is only speculation, but if it is true, this is the first time he is playable.

I know, Hisahide will be playable,also Sorin Otomo, Sarutobi Sasuke, Yoshiaki Mogami, Muneshige Tachibana, Tenkai and Hideaki Kobayakawa. Those are all I think. I'm pretty sure we won't see that version in Occident though :(

I wonder if they will decide to add old vets like Kenshin and the married couple. Hell if they even had musashi for just being part of sekigahara that wouldnt be soo bad. Who knows, perhaps we will get a western release. I would not be surprised if we did not, but then again they may have sold enough.

@TehGameDude When it came out in america it was renamed devil kings, the story was changed to be about demons, some characters were cut, and the gameplay system was completely changed. rather that doing a special move triangle would prime enemies making their lifebars yellow where they take 4times damage....so rather than going around stomping and doing special combos with special moves u basically went, triangle triangle hit, triangle triangle hit

well, the oda clan have an alliance with the azai clan, but azai clan betrayed oda clan supporting the asakura clan from oda attack, nobunaga change his posture of ally to enemy of nagamasa for that, but oichi love so much nagamasa and she fight by his husband ambition, that's why oichi is enemy of nobunaga, her love for nagamasa is most strong that the brotherhood, (excuse my english)

Don't believe that other guy. The producer of the first game put a lot of effort or whatever into Devil Kings for NA, and because it didn't click, there's no way they'd bother doing the same for SB2.

And because SB1 got bastardized/localized/whatever­, they can't just release a Sengoku-themed SB2 without admitting they were wrong for Devil Kings. It has nothing to do with Koei. Koei acknowledged the "tribute" that is SB.
