yeah mine is all treated wood though and i haven't found anywhere selling 1/2" thick treated wood. that's what ill probably have to do but then the 'sandwich' effect does not work well with the hinges and latch that would be mounted to the sides. i wish i could just easily cut a notch out of a 2x4 that the lattice could slide into....
I made this exact fence, but im having a problem designing a gate. the panels are very heavy when completed and i want the gate to be lighter so it doesnt end up sagging any suggestions?

@strykergsr use 1/2" lattice section cut to desired size and also if theres 1/2" thick 2/4... since it's smaller it should be lighter
