I'm going to be as frank as possible, HUMMER's are great vehicles. I own one. Jeeps are pretty good, but the HUMMER brand, in my opinion, is better. Feel free to hate on me. Honestly i couldn't care less.

@richu27 i have a h3 so might be a little different than the h3t but 18ish mpg if you baby it maybe more. Acceleration is slow due to the fact that its a 5 cyl in a decent sized suv. I love my h3 though wouldnt trade it for anything

My Discovery's tc system would have notice the wheel slipage within a half second and pulled me right on through. and while doing it would have given off a nice v8 burble from the exhaust instead of a shitty whine from an inline 5.

The rubicon is the only jeep that the h3 will have its hands full with. The h3 has the selectable rear locker unlike my jeeps limited crap slip. Still does good but the lockers are the way to go.

You may not be able to tell, but he did take it at an angle...that's why you can see only the front left and right rear have sold traction, and the left rear is up in the air -- if he took it straight on, no tires would be off the ground.

I see that Jeep brand lost a lot of its appeal because it is trying to survive in the global economy by making less capable vehicles to accommodate the surburban/city folks (general population) who still want to have a JEEP but probably never go fourwheelin' and the most fourwheelin' they do is going to the nearby camping ground or lake.

I have wheeled with a H3 with a locker and while it was capable it was unable to keep up with my mostly stock(at the time) LJ Rubicon. His drive home was much nicer than mine though.

Im not much of a fan of the newer jeeps either, too much plastic.
