It is possible to buy stainless steel "straight though" silencers (mufflers US) which would help to reduce the noise. In the end guys like that are liable to get sugar in their tank as one can only piss people off so much. I think sitting at the front of the boat with not much crumple zone is also risky.

@agaen96 full gas down a no wake zone? i have a hard time believing that, and that race boat can more than likely do well over a hundred Mph and be very stable at that speed. I doubt very much that it would randomly flip over in that channel.
