I understand that it may not be the perfectly ideal iteration of Marxism -- and its side effects don't appear very rosy in the eyes of comrades in the west, but they are stoutly resisting the bourgeois like no other nation currently. North Korea is a nationalist stalinist state. They are enemies of communism. The true communism, the communism of Marx and Engels is INTERNATIONALIST. The Internationale is the anthem of International Working Class, it's not the anthem of a totalitarian dictatorship. It's so sad how they spoiled this beautiful song.

The fact that Kim Jong Il lives in a palace making six figures while his people make 900-100 a year. Just like Stalin, just like Kerensky, just like the czars. He uses Youtube a lot while the people are forbidden from even using the Internet. The writings of Marx and Engels are suppressed in North Korea. The 2009 constitution removes all Marxist jargon and replaces it with Songun. It is even farther from communism than the USA, it is fascism except without imperialism.
