The Cats are coming along nicely this season. I firmly believe that, when it's all said and done, this year's unheralded freshman class of Meeks, Jasper, and Stevenson will have contributed just as much (if not more) to the UK program as McDonald's All-American laden '04 class of Morris, Rondo, Crawford, and Bradley. That's not to say they're better athletes, but just that they will contribute as much to UK success as the more heralded veterans.

the all americans didnt get along i think and now they all get along and it shows in the record rajon wasnt a leader so that was there problem i think

The junior class is definitely playing better "sans Rondo," and I think that has a bit to do with Rondo's unwillingness to share the ball(and whatever increased cohesion that results in), as well as the improvement that comes with having another year under their belts...it helps that this year we have a shutdown defender in Bradley (as opposed to the steal happy, defensive lapse-prone Rondo of last year) and a center (Morris) that is staying out of foul trouble.

As good as those guys (the junior class members) are, the freshmen will leave their mark on the UK program over the next four years. I think Jasper has a chance to be the top UK point guard since Travis Ford, the sky is the limit for Stevenson(he's gonna be a beast once he adds a couple pounds and gets some more experience), and Meeks is as talented as anyone on the squad. At any rate, keep the videos comin', and I'll keep watching! Thanks!
