I spent nearly 3 days looking for this old show. I didn't have much to go on, all I could remember was episode 3 when they meet up with Golem. I remembered that when they died, they turned into something close to a tombstone, but I couldn't remember exactly what. I finally figured it out today, and now I'm going to enjoy some childhood memories by watching this show.

it has a young adventurous boy with a hat, a girl about his age, and some monsters. those are the similarities to pokemon and digimon. lol but i love them all. :D
