nice vid, but without Vsync FSX looks horrible and that is why I do not want Ati card because there is no way how to turn Vsync on without any problems in FSX (flashing image sometime...). And nothing helps (Ati tray, dx overrider). It is very said, because it has big impact on general impression
In my opinion it is not worth to spend the money for W3580, if you already have a i7 950. You hardly can see the difference between both.
What I'm rely sure about is, that the new Nvidia Fermi GPU will give us more smoothness, but only if you have at least a i7 which is clocked at 4400MHz or more.
Appreciate your advice!!! But usually, OC 4.4ghz needs watercooling for stable running. Is your last video flying at KJFK tested on air? Your video flying at KJFK and Manhattan becomes my benchmark for testing my fsx performance and stability. :-)
I care about the performance difference between w3580 and i7 950. Which one can make fsx more smooth in your opinion? Pls give me suggestion if I wanna upgrade my 950 to w3580. Thanks!

Hi, Catalyst 10.1 has less shimmering and a litle bit better performance. But, I'm honestly I will buy the nvidia as soon they are out...

I always use watercooling for my CPU.
Cheers

I can not tell the difference between having my CPU clocked at 4.0GHz and anything above that. It just does not reflect in FSX.
