@PaddySlattery, think recent events especially here in the UK would prove otherwise. If today is perfect then why are so many people suffering from war, hunger, famine and poverty and why are our cities being torn apart?
You can only have a day that is perfect if you ignore all others and live in a shell. However compassion and care does not mean that you cannot have happiness or enjoy life, indeed caring can be deeply rewarding!
Finally, if today is perfect why is it that tomorrow you die?

Mother Teresa will always be my hero. When asked how she could care for so many hopeless cases she said, when I see them, I see God. The woman was more of a saint than any person crowned that. Totally selfless and a beautiful soul.

very nice message, it's true all beings alive need love, love sustains life, yet I don't think all people are perfect, all of us can become better and not all people have enough light in their souls... or good intentions - humans are not perfect, they need to be aware they must be better...having enough love depends on how good their souls are... it's nice to be told you are perfect and powerful, but it's not true - love isn't telling people they are perfect, love is inspiring them 2b better
